Agree. It was the divi that attracted him plus BP being such a 'blue chip'.

No matter how good the basket looks keeping all one's eggs in it is very risky.

I remember idioterna and posts I had with him about holding all his eggs in the BP basket. A few months later Macondo blew. Although the share price hasn't returned to pre-Macondo levels (660) it has pulled back to a less disastrous share price

Good day to you Bracke. Once again the old lady is making us work hard to earn a crust, nothing new there! My thoughts are that we will get to a fiver and well above
in due course, how long it will take to get there as usual is very much an unknown.
In the meantime I am being paid to hold BP with the very good divi which again we have been reassured will continue...fingers xxxd they don't have a change of heart there.
I recall from the past many posts from idioterna who had a massive holding waiting for over a fiver, I wonder if he still holds, would be good to hear from him again.
ps my average cost p/share is 377p (I will correct that it is 337) so I am at the moment very comfortable with todays price although the results did let us down a little.

Now what? There is a 50% probability that it will break through the red Median Line but a break through does not mean it will continue on down. If it does break through support is possible at 439. A break below the last swing low at 431 would be concerning.

I can't really see anything holding this up at the moment and with another fall this month when it goes XD I can see this getting to bargain territory around 400-410p which is when I will add. That will be around an 8% divi as well. Happy days.
