22/3/2017 16:08 | Are you buying back in Le_com? I am holding on for the end game. | cyan
22/3/2017 15:55 | Could it be another poison pill from KH, merge with VOG and lock BLVN in like the BOmono fo. Would there have to be a vote by shareholders on a merger with VOG? | roberto mancini
22/3/2017 15:49 | With COC still buying (and that indicates they are in this to win), I am surprised the share price is not stronger. I would think that COC will buy more on any weakness. AFAIK, BLVN still needs to call the EGM, and that will happen in the next month or two at which point the future of the strategic review will be dependant on the new board. Alternatively the BOD can propose a deal, but that will also be dependant on how good a deal it is. | fft
22/3/2017 15:45 | @fatnacker plenty of junior AIM stocks who have seen their share price rise steeply would love to get their hands on BLVN cash for their inflated paper. | loglorry1
22/3/2017 15:35 | I can't imagine anyone wanting to merge with blvn right now, in fact I'm willing to bet it won't happen while crown are on the scene. | fatnacker
22/3/2017 15:18 | I think they'll get their full LTIP stuff if they pull off a merger or buyout. Having said that I think they get full payout if they perform well against some peer group (that they no doubt pick) and given COC involvement to push up the price they'll get it anyway. | loglorry1
22/3/2017 14:58 | But a merger would have to be approved by shareholders - so it would have to be a good deal for BLVN. Otherwise it would be another nail in the coffin for KH and BA (I wont say final as they don't know when to let go). I cant imagine KH wanting a merger unless he was also given a job ! | fft
22/3/2017 14:55 | It wouldn't surprise me if kh and ba et al are pushing very hard with VOG to merge to save their jobs/skins - before the next meeting called by COC | d1nga
22/3/2017 14:36 | RNS COC 23.11% | hazydaisy
22/3/2017 14:19 | Wshak, thanks good to know you are still here. I am here and despite saying I would sell prior to the last EGM, I bought more to average down this morning. Typically it's gone down since then. | kbrook
22/3/2017 14:03 | River and Mercantile Asset Management LLP - who are these fellas? Don't look like they would be COC associates... | winnet
22/3/2017 14:00 | kbrook, I don't intend to sell a single share, and will be staying in to make sure that my votes support the resolutions put forward for the EGM. WShak | wshak
22/3/2017 13:57 | Anyone heard from wshak recently? Would like his take on current developments | kbrook
22/3/2017 13:52 | logfunny you say that as i thought it was wshak that drew my attention to themcheers | stansmith3
22/3/2017 13:51 | This should be interesting seeing all the names with more than 1% (only 3.2m shares). There have been a few people on this board who have claimed to have this amount who will now have to submit a form 8.3. Suspect we'll get some people saying they've now sold :-) | brileyloucan
22/3/2017 13:38 | @stanstead saying that I think it has happened in the past. I think Minmet did it but not sure. | loglorry1
22/3/2017 13:34 | @stansmith No While the shares are in treasury, voting rights are suspended, dividends are not paid and the company cannot take advantage of pre-emption rights under section 89 of the 1985 Act | loglorry1
22/3/2017 13:27 | in such a situation can they vote the treasury shares for themselves? | stansmith3
22/3/2017 13:15 | What's the chances, wouldn't put it past the likes of KH attempting a low ball mbo. | roberto mancini
22/3/2017 12:34 | The non -executive chairman is showing his contempt for normal rules of corporate governance. To retain as ordinary employees, a CEO and other directors that have been voted off the board is beyond belief. No doubt he will suffer further down the line for his extremely poor judgement. I only have 30,000 shares left so no matter to me, but he most certainly is not playing a blinder | hernando2
22/3/2017 09:20 | I think you're right cyman, I think Bill's staying one step ahead of crown, smart man. | fatnacker
22/3/2017 09:09 | The rns is a booby trap intended to call the bluff of any coc buyer and says talk to the bod if you have any interest in assets. Designed to circumvent what bod deems as interference | cyman
22/3/2017 08:56 | I think neither of us is "blinkered" or a "stooge" or a "fanstasist" or "ill-informed"; we just have a difference of opinion on the strategic direction we want the company to take. He is happy to through his lot in with COC. Me, i wasn't. My shares are mostly sold, so my voice is comparatively tiny, vis a vis other like Log who hold. GL all. | winnet |
