Winnet - I think the plan is ok and most of are used to being patient. However, my gripe is that the BOD have not been prepared to cut costs deep enough and we face massive erosion if delays continue (which I think is likely). Given the management of Etinde has been passed to new age, they could have cut staff numbers a lot deeper. The reluctance to do this and keep the gravy train going has been a major factor in bringing us to where we are today with COC.

I agree re Cameroon and African Govts' in general but the BOD were aware of this and I feel the cash pile could have been used to diverssify and acquire producing assets outside of Cameroon when assets were going for a song, rather than wasting more on Bonomo imo when it was clear to KH the Cameroon Govt are slow off the mark. His duty is to shareholders. A big strategic mistake. imo

True, Winnet, but outside of share buybacks (the default position of a BOD with either no interest in working to create real SH value or simple ineptitude) the only reason the share price is rising from the depths is Crown's involvement. Let's see if KH and CO can come up with alternative plans over next few weeks to realise SH value? imo

Thats fair enough cumnor and my view of Kevin has been changing in recent months. Specifically his lack of progress on a Bomono EA, but voting with COC would be throwing the baby out with the bathwater. This EGM is not a referendum on Kevin Hart!

Winnet, KH and cronies should not be part of that imo, given these trough feeders' record in destroying shareholder value in what for oilers' was a unique position of strength. All they are proposing now is another 'meeting'. SHS need to get real about these scavengers. imo

I feel like this is a concerted effort being undertaken to pull the value from LTHs like me that invested at higher prices than COC on the basis of Etinde & Bonomo development potnetial. COC, Tom Winnfart and Ben Tunrey have not got our best interests at heart, they are stirring up a hornets nest to make a quick buck, not looking at the wider, more long-term picture.

I agree winnet; a mean valuation. 50p minimum for me

20% of Etinde is worth waaaaaaaaaay more than 50 million dollars. Isn't this kind of the point - don't we need to use our FREE carried to drills to prove what we all got very excited about after the Luk deal? I am not invested, and have never been invested, to get 12pps for Etinde. Also Bomono is hardly worthless, why exclude it? Perhaps to try and hustle people into thinking 36p is a fair price.

Wrong time, wrong people, wrong price.

I will be voting with Billy Allen.

... going forward, can't see Rolls Royce winning much business in Africa!

(unless taken over by the Chinese or the Russians).

Back in Cameroon, we are needed more than ever.

Business in Cameroon) - The Mekin hydroelectric dam, built in the South-Cameroon region, will not produce the expected 15 MW anytime soon to supply households in the eight municipalities in the Dja and Lobo districts in electricity.

In addition to the delays observed in the process to relocate the populations affected by the project, we learned during a recent ground visit by the local public authorities, environment issues are preventing the start of the turbines.

Indeed, we learned from reliable sources, recent tests made on this energy infrastructure led to at least two neighbouring bridges being flooded, thus revealing dysfunctions which will need to be remedied before the commissioning of the structure.

As a reminder, the Mekin dam was built by China National Electric Engineering Corporation (CNEEC), from a Chinese financing of approximately FCfa 25 billion in favour of the Cameroonian State. The project also includes the construction of a 33-km transport line.

I notice KH didn't tell the Times that he spent $90m on a project that was estimated to cost between $13 & $15m even COCO the clown can do better than that. What happened to the oil and gas experience on that project?.
