If CO had not requested the meeting and board changes todays rns would not have been issued.

The rns doesn't add any value it just restated the facts that BLVN is moving at snails pace and costing a fortune to do so.

Yes the final nail in the coffin is that they are still only discussing the options for Etinde. No nearer to a conclusion or production.

Etinde is not going to progress until Lukoil decide they want to. I think the only avenue for progress for the BOD would be to get PEA and farm out on Bonomo to show it hasn't been a complete black hole. I'm enjoying the fact the BOD are under pressure and it might make them cut salaries and reduce costs further. I am worried they are going to go back to the waste paper basket though and go for any acquisition that is still available to justify their positions.

Just looked back ... burning $2m a month in a stage where they admit nothing has happened. So in another year -$25m minimum with nothing more to show than the year before.

All this RNS does is play right into CO's hands as it shows nothing has happened in a year.

This seems to have been BLVN boards last hand and it seems they were holding a pair of 2's.

D1nga .... exactly ... sums up what they have been doing .... VERY little if anything yet cash burn continues and what is the point of a 23% reduction in what is already almost criminal cash burn ?

They have $90mn or so in the bank, $65mn of carry and the asset. How will they go into administration? New Age and Lukoil are drilling, why does Bowleven exist and employing copious amounts of staff? CO are right, all spending should be stopped if all we are paying for them to do is deplete what cash they have left. I will be voting with CO and hope there will be a takeover in the meantime.
