Even the prospect of imminent good news is failing to give any lift to the share price...I can only assume that the rumours of a distressed seller are perhaps true.

To The Prophet

P/E ratios of 25-30 are ball-park for the funds / ETFs in the sector which is a good marker. This is the largest tracker and is at a PE of 27, hxxps://www.globalxfunds.com/funds/qqqc/.

In one of MW's reports was the interesting fact that Chinese focused e-commerce technology stocks are rated at x30 on Nasdaq.
If BNN deliver, and the signs are encouraging, then there are some very nice share price targets for BNN to obtain.
I think Mirabaud were forecasting eps of 38p for 2018, and that was before any of the most recent developments, although there would have to be an adjustment for extra shares in issue.
It's all there to do, but the groundwork has been laid in 2016, I look forwards to the year ahead.

Hi ripplevale

Good post as always ,and good find.

Where I disagree with you is in your statement that the share price has a lot of good news built into it.Even on the old Mirabauds forecasts, which now look very anaemic after the recent news, the shares are currently trading on a pe of around 9x forecast 2017 earnings, adjusted for the increased number of shares in issue.Given the accelerating trends in the traffic flow and the company on the verge of clinching many high margin deals, the pe could well drop down to 7-8x on a conservative estimate. That is too low against the sector average of I believe around 20x.The share price therefore has plenty of room to grow even without Nasdaq.

I agree however that share price would be susceptible to any bad news from the China affiliates

To Slipperysidewinder

Certainly has been on Shareprophets radar as its March 2016 tip of the month. TW would upset quite a few of his punters if he now went seriously bearish.

I don't think MW punters are hugely invested here with sticky shares in a small wealthy enclave in the North of England and II's.

Where I do agree is that the share price has a lot of good news built in and is susceptible to any bad news on AIM. And if you shorted at 144p that is a reasonable short-term punt. But the $330m mCap (it is best to view in dollars as NASDAQ is going ahead), is not frothy compared to peers on that market and by end of Q1 in 2017, you could get your fingers burnt (if the rumoured December transaction are anything to go by).

Oh dear, is that all? Those are the reasons perhaps for not buying, not for shorting!

No one is denying that there are risks here, perhaps more so than the average, but potential rewards far outweigh the risks and that is the judgement on which I am invested here,as are others I am sure.

No amount of deramping ,specially of your brand, is going to sway the opinions of the holders who have done the research, so perhaps it is best you stop wasting your energy and time and move on?

seasons greeting to you.

3 reasons 1 MW tips historically attract mug punters. 2 AIM + China = disaster 3 A little birdie told be it's on the shareprophets radar like I like to get a head start in them.

3 very very good reasons. I don't have to get technical. Just following well trodden trends.

Actually if you invested in MW recommendations when he "first" started covering them, I suspect you would be nicely rich by now if you timed it right. MW finds prospects and provides added value like access to analyst information not easily available to the standard PI for example. But it is up to the investor to make a success of their investment, not MW. Its a matter of timing both when to buy and when to sell, the latter clearly being the most important. Not every share prospect makes it and some will fail for sure, but others will make it and even some failures will rise substantially before they fail. The trick is to get out before they fail of course which is absolutely not the case for BNN, in fact current smoke signals should actually be a warning to shorters to plan for exit to protect any profits they may possibly have.

Shorters tend to emphasise shares they have done well in, not realising that to get to the price they open a short at, investors have already made a decent profit, for the price get to their opening short position.

BNN is an exceptional opportunity for investors, with a clear route to revenues already commenced, great expansional potential with increased commissions and new services, aligned to China government policies and partnerships, etc.

Any existing shorts have actually lost 9% of their profit over the past fews days and more "loss" is to come. They might well be making the case Nasdaq will not happen, revenues will not be delivered to justify market valuation or its a china company so cannot be trusted (see previous post to discount that one). But none are correct based on expectations. All I can say is it will be a very interesting Q1 2017 with indications that BNN are actually ahead of expectations. On that note, enjoy Xmas and look forward to more profitable investing in the New Year starting here with BNN!

Slippery, you havent explained why you are short here.Is it just because MW has tipped them? Or because in your perception they are a Chinese company and therefore not to be trusted?

Would be interested to know. Incidentally I havent followed MW here but his research is good and worth a read if you are short.

Midas

I am up for it big time. Message me your email and how you propose to set up.

I have a 40 grand short here at 144. I think these type of shorts are milk and honey.

Like Nanoco, you nead an emporer who wears no clothes cue Michael Walters, and a band of merry men who think they,ve just stumbled across the next Microsoft.

It earned me well into six figures at Nanoco. For every great short you need gullible long term holders who buy on the dips until it's all gone.

Snowy ;
Thanks for the advice , i managed my panic by buying in again at 1.13/ and again at 1.19 to double my position .
It is the MM that will only make me panic when I decide to jump ship as it is they that control this stock at the moment .
And I look forward to seeing a new board member in early 2017 with US stock market experience !!

charles; take care and a word of advice - try to not panic when you have bought some and the price falls. BNN is a volatile share. There are traders within traders who are making money out of the share as the company develops. It is easy to make a mistake with this stock (I have) but I have every confidence in the management and in my holding.

I do not regard this management as the average board of many AIM listed companies where the management are iffy - just spending money on themselves and up to this and that; taking advantage of the fact that very highly paid regulators do nothing to protect investors. This management want a seat at the top table; therefore I trust it.

But that is not to say that, as with many other stocks punters big and small, traders will not make money out of the swings and roundabouts.

Midas - late February and maybe March for me. News still to come.

Good Crimble everyone.

Topaz a little wager for the new year ?

I say the shares by Feb 1 2017 will be at a minimum of £2.50 if I'm wrong I will give £2,500 to a charity of your choice, if the shares are under £2.50 on the same date then you give £2,500 to the charity of my choice ?

Are you up for it?

Deal or no deal?

Either way have a great Christmas.
