He's a businessman! Not a politician... if business can be done with China that benefits America, I'm sure he will take it... it seems mm's are letting there mates in today! 70,000 share purchase at 1.18.. 4 trades earlier it was at 1.23... interesting....

A lot of sellers still around.Quite likely the share price will drift until we have some further positive news,which hopefully will be very soon.

Donald Trump has 'great meeting' with Alibaba boss Jack Ma

US President-elect Donald Trump has held what he said was a "great meeting" in New York with Jack Ma, chairman of the e-commerce site Alibaba.
After the meeting Mr Ma said that both had agreed that US-China relations "should be strengthened, should be more friendly and do better".
Mr Ma said he would help US businesses create a million new jobs by using his website to sell to China.
During his campaign Mr Trump threatened to place tariffs on Chinese imports.
"Jack and I are going to do some great things," Mr Trump told reporters gathering in the Trump Tower lobby as the two emerged from the lift together.
Company spokesman Bob Christie said that one million new jobs will be created over the next five years as small American businesses hire new employees who will be tasked with interacting with Alibaba.

Something was up late yesterday and when I tried buying first thing share was quoted up 7% then a 3 minute wait and price down 6% .

They obviously did not want to sell at opening ...

No news from company , so all must be OK ?
Makes stock look a good buy again will try and see what can be bought in small tranches

We had a 200 trade at 8.05 then on volume of 30k the price went from 131.615 to 116, since then we have had circ 120k and the price has hardly moved. Someone is dumping then hoovering.

Probably delayed sell order to be seen later. I can see why traders like BNN, I last bought just over 116p on the 21st December, its been up to 140p and back to sub 120p as of today since then. That's a nice trading range to work on. Message on BNN hasn't changed, will use any such drops as top up opportunities as funds become available.

Charlesdarcy. You could be right! Until new money and buyers enter this market we will trade in a range. Low volumes allow easy ups/downs. Don't believe directors don't care about share price, as it is one factor in Nasdaq listing process. RNS in January is crucial to higher share price.

MM , taking stock down ,,,, they are collecting a little cheap stock

Stock could drop a bit more tomorrow without some support .

As read yesterday directors not too bothered with short term price , not relying on RNS .

But history might repeat itself stock down too low 1.20 RNS ; good news price 1.45 back to where we were ;

CEO and officers of the company are almost always uninterested in short term actions to boost the share price. They have a long term view and have a focus on pushing the company forward. That often takes huge amounts of effort , back breaking days The December RNS was terrific and I think they have learnt to not promise anything, china is too unpredictable for that, shareholders beware!Quoting on Nasdaq is huge and the Xinhua deal is huge too. Things are developing very well it seems I have a shareholding and holding them tight
