17/11/2014 16:13 | The tax debate rumbles on with big player urging govt to be sensible and not kill mining investment with over taxation:- MANILA, Philippines - Businessman Manuel V. Pangilinan, who controls one of the largest gold mines in the country, is urging the government to implement reforms in the extractive industry so mining firms can cope with the difficult business climate. | paleje
11/11/2014 21:59 | Don't play this game, if you cannot take the pain. | russman
11/11/2014 15:10 | ..ok ill take 10p lol | currypasty
11/11/2014 15:07 | Curry. you are potty if you think 20p will be paid for this, the Phillipine Govt has screwed any chance of that as its new mining tax has scuppered that. The money in the Bank will do nicely to pay the bloody Directors et al the wages for the next year or so! If Goldfields revisited 8/9p would get this considering how much they already own, I troied to dump mine the other day at close to 7.75p no bloody chance should have take the 6p I was offered. | thetoonarmy2
11/11/2014 15:02 | at a realistic?? takeover price of say 20p, the total cost is miniscule for the type of companies looking at this project. It may even be worth gold fields re-visiting, buying us, and just filing away till the taxation is sorted | currypasty
11/11/2014 14:41 | The Philippines won't shoot themselves in both feet over the mining tax imo bigdazzler, there will be compromise and probably not far off because it's hurting investment already. And predators will know there are other predators waiting to pounce so competition and greed will keep them from stringing it out too far. Multibagging from theses levels comes to mind. | paleje
11/11/2014 11:24 | and another 24750 @ 4p | david77
11/11/2014 11:06 | I've just added 24765 at just under 4p | david77
11/11/2014 11:03 | I'm glad you see it that way. All I see is the realistic fact that this is going to be a very long drawn out affair to try and sell the company and any potential buyers are going to have the upper hand knowing the company wants to sell. The reason it is going to be drawn out due to the uncertainty caused by the Philippines mining tax proposal. Who in there right mind is going to take this on with that level of uncertainty in the current mining finance and metals prices uncertainty. Then there is the cash which will decrease over time and again other predators will knows this. Worrying times if you ask me. | bigdazzler
11/11/2014 08:23 | £2.4m cash, mcap £3.6m | currypasty
11/11/2014 08:20 | Yes, strong cash position leaves it well placed to get the best deal | andyview
11/11/2014 07:54 | Cash to see us into 2016, a deal should be done way before then and buyers at this level will do very well out of it. | paleje
10/11/2014 09:58 | I've added a few more this morning, I see this heading higher over the short term and expect it to be bought out ...gla | andyview
10/11/2014 07:47 | Plan to add a few this AM. All my research suggest a price hike after some consolidation to well over 10p. Adding in small lots on every weakness in the share price here on.Good luck all | duxy786_2
