Thanks paleje. I checked out BZT's website before posting but there was no indication of a date on there. Most companies report at about the same time each year though so your assumption of 30th March should be correct. Not too long to wait.

Just going by last year Alan, it was 30th March. The cash as at 30 June was 2.4m, Yorgi, so it could be a bit under 2m now but I wouldn't have thought much.

Interims next month, will update the cash situation if nothing else but I reckon there's still ~2m in the bank and the m/cap is ~3m. So for a million quid you get Mankayan, Eureka and Goldfields as a major shareholder.

He's made 2 purchases, 500 and 250k, so over £30k worth, more than pocket money. So he'll clear £60k when it trebles:)

If his investment trebles in say 6-12 months that would make him £40k clear, a 200% profit on his investment, that wouldn't be insignificant. I'm not saying it will do that but but I think there's a fair chance it will at least double from its current low when a buyer is confirmed, copper is forecast to rise strongly from 2016.

And that's not to mention Argentina which cannot remain a pariah state forever, they need investment.

EN only bought like £20K worth of shares, hardly worth it, thats like you or me buying a few hundred quid worth, even i bought around £10k worth at 52p, like 6 months pay for me, and he bought like a week or two's pay worth i exspect.

Last time Ed Nealon did this, was in 2010, just before the initial Goldfields deal was first announced. He is a wealthy man, but this shows confidence and it is with his own money, not options, deferred shares or warrants, as per many scumbag BOD's on AIM.

Downsize, Goldfields paid 26p per share for a 21% stake here in Jan 2013 with a view to buying Mankayan but they backed off, no proper reason given but the tax situation must have figured plus problems in the rest of their group. They still hold 21%. The asset quality has increased since that time although sentiment has fallen.

When the tax situation becomes clear a sale or jv should be possible. There is considerable influence arguing for moderation in the tax reforms. When a deal is done it will still leave Eureka, an undervalued project in itself albeit in an unstable territory but it won't stay that way forever.

Perhaps a bigger fish might just take out the company, why not, 15p might do it in the present market. I hope it doesn't go that way because it's potentially worth a lot more and, with cash to see them into 2016, there's no rush for mgmnt to sell imo.

Has anyone done any calculations on the real enterprise value regarding a takeover or buyout? Would be interesting to know if there are any benchmarks out there.

Good call Duxy and Peleje, buys are going through as sells now, that 82k was definitely a buy something's afoot, maybe that director buy means there is some good news on the horizon.
