I agree with you Andrea152, some interesting hints and we may have news in the near future. My take on this is that it is very high risk yet the return is massive if it comes off. I have invested only the amount I can afford to lose and I will let it ride as I am not interested in trading this one.
Sub £4m Mkt cap yet NPV $740 million!
It will be interesting to see who takes over from Duterte when he steps down due to ill health.

Sounds a little too cryptic for me to keep up with....There's 'permissioning' to get past, with locals & politicians, it seems. What's described as being 'interesting' is a series of potential snags.Still, LR is as frank as anyone about it, which is ....interesting.
I expect it's all fine really.

Link please andrea152, his site is impossible to negotiate as there are no dates on the podcasts until you open them.

I think it's time he had someone to organise his site professionally, get rid of the hangers on or I will give up listening to him - I have just been trying to find that podcast but I just wasted time.

PS Found it at last!

Bezant Resources Plc

("Bezant" or the "Company")

Block Model Analysis, Mankayan Project, Philippines

Bezant (AIM: BZT), the copper-gold exploration and development company, is pleased to announce that a 3D computerised overview of Bezant's Mankayan copper-gold project, located on the Island of Luzon in the Philippines (the "Mankayan Project"), based on the existing historic JORC 2004 compliant resource estimate, is available on the Company's website.

An updated internal interpretation of the project's existing block model is currently being utilised by Bezant's management across a number of workstreams and an animated video version can be viewed at the Company's website at www.bezantresources.com.

Block Model overview:

-- Constructed from analysis and interpretation of the available historic core data by Bezant, with assistance and input from, specialist technical consultants, Addison Mining Services Limited's ("AMS") geological team and certain other third party groups.

-- All resource and economic data for the in-house analysis was extracted from previously disclosed historic mineral resource estimates and conceptual studies produced by Snowden Mining Industry Consultants, TWP Australia (Pty) Ltd and Mining Plus Pty Ltd.

-- Static/3D interpretations of the model are being utilised to identify significant areas 'open' for potential additional resources and previously untested areas with high-grade potential.

-- The animation features Bezant's new corporate logo/branding which will be phased in across the group by the end of 2018.

In addition, the Company is pleased to announce that a new data room containing information on the Mankayan Project is now in operation. Interested parties wishing to be granted access to the data room, subject to entering into a confidentiality agreement, should contact: lread@bezantresources.com.

This does not appear to imply a long term strategy being employed:

In this context, our Mankayan Project is technically advanced and well positioned amongst a diminishing list of prospective global copper projects, and we are now actively marketing the project in a focused manner to large mining groups and institutions who recognise the strength of copper price fundamentals and the opportunity the project represents.

For anyone thinking of making a quick buck, forget it, this is a long term investment. It may make a fortune or it may not.
From today:

'...our Mankayan Project is technically advanced and well positioned amongst a diminishing list of prospective global copper projects, and we are now actively marketing the project in a focused manner to large mining groups and institutions who recognise the strength of copper price fundamentals and the opportunity the project represents.'

The chairman has 25 million shares so clearly that's an incentive to get this going.

Justin Waite's take on this one is worth a listen, this one is from June.

How do they monetise Mankayan?
Surely next step is to take it to BFS but theyoneed around $10 million for that, presumably a JV partner to fund it with a proportionate stake?
I have a decent holding in ARS which is at BFS stage on BKM in Indonesia.
What’s the issue with Mankayan that prevents a JV ( note grades are average)?

Laurence Read, CEO of Bezant, commented:

"As previously announced, following a full review of the groups operations the Board believes future value for the Company should be driven from the current portfolio of copper gold assets. The Mankayan project is a highly advanced, major copper asset which has already been subject to an option by an industry major and the Eureka project is in a prospective copper district with historic mining present at surface. The $500,000 disposal of Choco to Auvert, a company specialising in alluvial mining, allows Bezant to focus on a series of assets in two commodities likely to be subject to significant supply shortfalls. We look forward to updating the market in detail on our copper-gold review shortly."

Copper-Gold Strategic Review Results

Bezant (AIM: BZT), the copper-gold exploration and development company, is pleased to announce the findings from its in-depth internal review process across all aspects of its operations and portfolio assets and to outline the potential prospects for shareholder value.

Highlights:

-- Strategic review completed on all of the Company's existing assets and operations
-- Findings:
o The Company's Mankayan copper-gold project in the Philippines believed to be a world class asset and relatively unknown to the trade and wider market in terms of its scale and potential

o Major potential to generate further value from the existing data set held on Mankayan

o Eureka project in Argentina has little existing 3D definition and represents a significant copper-gold target - sizeable potential and hosted gold content not yet fully understood

o Recent disposal of Choco alluvial gold-platinum project in Colombia, as by comparison deemed to have less potential to contribute positively to the group's performance. Disposal has removed exposure to all costs and liabilities associated with the project

o Group overheads minimised during review process and additional cost cutting initiatives being identified and implemented.

29th May

Bezant (AIM: BZT), the copper-gold exploration and development company, is pleased to announce that the Mineral Production Sharing Agreement ("MPSA") No. 057-96-CAR, held by its associate, Crescent Mining and Development Corporation ("CMDC"), which governs the 534 hectare contract area comprising the Company's Mankayan Project, Benguet Province, Philippines, has been renewed for a standard period expiring in April 2020.

The Philippines Department of Environment and Natural Resources Administration has granted the renewal subject to customary conditions for inclusive stakeholder engagement and certain work programme commitments.

Laurence Read, CEO of Bezant, today commented:

"It is a testament to the quality and diligence of our Philippines team that the exploration period for our Mankayan Project's MPSA has been renewed. The core of the Philippine Government's strategy is that 'Mining shall be pro-people and pro-environment in sustaining wealth creation and improved quality of life'. Over the course of the next two years, stakeholder engagement for the progression of our Mankayan asset will be at the core of our work on this project. I look forward to the roll out in due course of our technical and community programmes which are aimed at adding value to a project which we already deem to be world class, but which has substantial potential for enhancement."

Colin Bird, Executive Chairman of Bezant, today commented:

"This represents very good news for the Company and its Mankayan Project in that we now have some certainty and time in which to complete our project evaluation and planned enhancement work. The Mankayan copper-gold project is very well positioned in the global league table of potential future mining developement projects and we are confident that we can add value through further work to enhance the existing resource and metal grades. We now intend to progress our work programme preparations and assess all aspects of the project in the short-term, whilst seeking to familiarise the wider marketplace and trade with the exceptional characteristics that the Mankayan Project possesses."

31st May

The Fundraising comprises a placing of 208,333,333 new Ordinary Shares (the "Placing Shares"), via the Company's broker, Novum Securities Limited, and a subscription by Colin Bird, Bezant's Executive Chairman, who has invested GBP50,000 to subscribe for 13,888,889 new Ordinary Shares (the "Subscription Shares"), representing 6.25 per cent. of the total Fundraising amount. Accordingly, following completion of the Fundraising, Mr. Bird will be interested in 25,000,000 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 2.5 per cent. of the Company's enlarged share capital.

Use of Proceeds

The net proceeds from the Fundraising will be principally be utilised to progress the Company's Mankayan copper-gold project, located on the Island of Luzon in the Philippines (the "Mankayan Project"), including commissioning a further update / optimisation of the historical third party scoping study, together with onsite community development work and the necessary activities to advance a drilling progamme targeting resource confirmation and potential extension. Bezant's board believes that the Mankayan Project is already a forerunner in the prospective global copper-gold arena and anticipates that the project will be enhanced and even better placed following completion of the planned work programme.

The Company will also utilise a portion of the net proceeds on activities aimed at increasing the confidence in, and decreasing risk at, Bezant's Eureka project in Argentina, which is likely to include a small-scale geophysics programme. The balance of the net proceeds will be used for general working capital purposes.
