02/3/2017 10:26 | Seems strange that there would be a dedicated seller at this price. A dedicated buyer, yes... | bookwormrobert
02/3/2017 10:04 | I've taken a starter position this morning. L2 was no help as it showed no resistance, but they were quite hard to get although at the advertised offer price. Suspect the background seller is still there. | pj 1
02/3/2017 08:21 | Closed at 0.91 AUD = 56.7p in Australia. Time for a rebound here, too, methinks. | bookwormrobert
01/3/2017 15:00 | We have had a pause for breath over the past ten days but I expect the shares to resume rise and advance to new highs on next announcement. Suggestions of a placing and/or local opposition to the project wide of the mark. More likely to see financing provided by new partnership deal. | wiseacre
28/2/2017 22:59 | I bought some shares in BKY today because I felt that this was an attractive entry level hoping that my investment will double in value within 12 months. Chart wise it looks like the short term down trend has reversed with a small rise. We shall see what happens in the next few days. | kingston78
28/2/2017 07:51 | Closed again at 0.90 AUD in Oz = 56p | bookwormrobert
27/2/2017 08:08 | Closed at 0.90 AUD in Oz = 56p. | bookwormrobert
26/2/2017 08:56 | Yep, my guess is that Friday was the bottom of this sell-off - which was basically sectoral, and related to a sudden unexpected softness in the uranium spot price (as if that was relevant to a mine still being built!). Back to 60 by the end of this week. | bookwormrobert
26/2/2017 08:24 | Very confident about this share both in the short and long term. We have uranium we have a clear and funded plan to access and market it. World market conditions are moving in our favour. The Don likes nuclear! What's not to like. | fatboy20
25/2/2017 16:45 | Berkeley present at our next London seminar on the 8th March, may be of interest: | sharesoc
24/2/2017 19:28 | Ok thanks Marvelman. | herlat1
24/2/2017 18:15 | Yeah... I'm worried it might spoil my view! Disgusted of Tunbridge Wells. | goodgrief
24/2/2017 15:39 | marvelman, Don't forget that the company is also suing 2 members of the opposition for spreading false information. From what I understand, the company does not give much importance to the protests which as has been reported is muchly composed of persons who do not live in the region. DYOR - en español | piedro
24/2/2017 14:45 | marv - that's how it came across to me. Apologies for misconstruing. | charles clore
24/2/2017 13:57 | Herlat...as I have said above, no more comment from me as I am not purposely trying to undermine either this thread or the investment case. I obviously realise that when negative posts such as mine are propounded they can be construed so. My own research following the disclosure of an ongoing investigation pursuaded me to sell...for now. I respect the choice of others to remain on board. Regards. | marvelman
24/2/2017 13:54 | Come on folks this mine will go ahead that's for certain. The jobs and tax revenues it will generate are a decisive factor. | mcpaulas
24/2/2017 13:49 | Marvelman are you suggesting that the Company and presumably also the Director of Mines and the President of Castilla y Leon ( in Parliament and on the record) are making untruthful statements? And that the greens claims of '1000 trees' and illegal mining activities are truthful statements? | herlat1
24/2/2017 13:45 | Charles...promise you I am not purposely deramping but am well aware that it would seem so. Out of respect for current holders though I will decist from posting and hope to be a holder again when my own fears are confounded. Regards. | marvelman
24/2/2017 13:40 | Marv - such protests are perfectly normal for almost every mining project on the planet. Stop deramping and get with the script! | charles clore
24/2/2017 13:40 | Langostino there is absolutely no need for the Company make any statement in my view. The Spanish media is full of TV and print media reports of the Director of Mines along with President Herrera strongly supporting the mine development. Maybe you missed it?http://www.lavang | herlat1
24/2/2017 13:34 | Thank you langostino...the article:- The Australian company Berkeley is continuing work to build an open-pit uranium mine between the terms Retortillo and Villavieja de Yeltes, Salamanca. As the environmental battle against the project continues. More than 1,000 centenarian oaks have already been cleared, with the permission of the Junta de Castilla y León, and that is precisely what the detractors of the project censor. Neighbors oppose the opening of the mine to the risk of radioactive contamination. The company says it will generate 200 jobs and this generates division in the region. The logging begins even though the company still does not have permits such as the Ministry of Energy, Tourism and Digital Agenda, and faces several judicial remedies, one of them admitted by the National Court. So........."As far as the Company is aware there are no current or future legal actions that are expected to have any impact on the development of the mine"...perhaps the company should be more aware (or more truthful) | marvelman
24/2/2017 13:24 | bookwormrobert - then perhaps the company should issue a press release to the Spanish Media who are now constantly reporting on Berkeley's lack of permissions and outstanding judicial proceedings. See last para of this report from a major government-supportin hxxps://okdiario.com | langostino
24/2/2017 12:34 | With all the proposed BKY job creation (high youth unemployment in Spain) I cannot see any adverse legal action being very politically acceptable. I see this price movement as a reaction to the Uranium price coming off a dollar or so. Shades of Wolf Minerals v Tungsten price. | rotors |
