24/1/2017 12:34 | bulls had it but didn't press the advantage. 4hr chart is now weak but daily is supportive. bb's on daily suggest something has to give - probably take 1-5 days before bulls or bears take control. meanwhile Chinese exchanges are dry.... could this explain the above? | mcbeanburger
24/1/2017 04:02 | look'n good Huston. | mcbeanburger
24/1/2017 00:30 | called too early - could be wrong but setup for short bashing is on high based on 4hr candle so needs another 3.5 hrs to confirm. | mcbeanburger

19/1/2017 19:07 | Thanks random, must confess that I don't get it. How can you trade something of perceived value when it has no value ? (only joking) | eriktherock
19/1/2017 09:44 | It's still number one in the crypto space ... as the war on cash intensifies all forms of money that are underwritten by a non-trivial cost of production will attract bidders. that includes PM's and the premier cryptos. the best coins appear to be BTC, XMR and ETH. zcash is interesting, but closed. ETH is popular, but not as revolutionary as XMR. However XMR has some flaws, including ledger bloat. On the plus side, ETH and XMR are good for mining (unlike BTC, which requires vast investment). | random
18/1/2017 19:17 | The mind boggles. Glad you're good. Now wot's with this BitCoin...... | eriktherock

17/1/2017 16:17 | Mr Rock - howdy doodee "my bitcoin is growing" I can't keep up with the euphemisms of the yout' of today. | mcbeanburger
17/1/2017 11:46 | Right now I'm mining XMR using dwarfpool. It seems possible to scale it up ... BTC mining is uneconomic unless using ASICs, XMR is fine using GPUs. Might try an arb for a BTC trader I help out. Sell BTC for XMR hashing, pointed at dwarfpool. The arbing sites suggest it's a profitable trade, but it needs dd. There are technical issues as well, but once set up it's an easy trade. Another arb is sell BTC on localbitcoin, buy back on poloniex. Roughly 10% per round trip. | random
17/1/2017 10:46 | my bitcoin is growing | spadman

13/1/2017 20:48 | Yes, of course. But I am betting with IG and they shut down over the weekend. So until Sunday night impossible to trade. Sold 3/4 for a small profit. | alexx
13/1/2017 19:59 | I thought bitcoin was traded 24/7 | spadman
13/1/2017 17:06 | Going up, got some bets in profit now but not enough profit to risk leaving in over the w/e. How negative I am. If I leave them on I'll be really annoyed if the price dives and if I take profits I'll be really annoyed on a big rise. | alexx
12/1/2017 21:06 | made a handy 350 quid today with a couple of bitcoin spreadbets... first time venturing away from the indices. may do this more often | brando69
