27/6/2005 11:00 | dell Thats what I've been thinking, but I've been reluctant to mention it in any posts for fear of causing any further panic selling. Sometimes I don't inderstand this game. I've got shares in company's that are winning huge contracts, turning losses into profits, starting to pay divi's, and the share price refuses to budge. Here we apparently have a company on the brink, and people are buying in and pushing the share price back up. I just hope someone knows something I din't. | trevor1959
27/6/2005 10:54 | Trevor - There must be a lot of brave punters about, IMHO. When the company had already announced that it was trying to raise further funding, the situation must be looking quite bad for it to release a further RNS, stating that it now had an urgent need for funding. The company would appear to be pre-warning the market that this is very close to going t*ts up. Depending on the terms of fund raising, there may be upside, but surely administration is also a significant probability at this stage. There must also be serious questions needing asking about the credibility of the company's debtors.... Rgds dell All IMHO, DYOR etc. | dell314
27/6/2005 10:43 | Quite a few 100K buys in the past week since the announcement. Up again today. | trevor1959
24/6/2005 15:10 | this is incedibles i am in profit on the 1sf lot | sonebrant
24/6/2005 08:16 | a gamble jeffian this is all it is just like any other share on the market. I must admit it is high risk but like most high risk can reward you more with less capital invested. To accive the return that I am hoping for, I will need to invest about 20 times on a "well run company" that to me is even higher see the in past bvc, moni, mrw, and the list goes on. good look on any share jovi | jovi2
24/6/2005 00:26 | Continuing my theme of learning from history, I suspect jovi2 and other 'bottom fishers' are attracted by the sharp fall and the potential for large % gains if it doesn't go bust. Have a look at the thread "IS SFI GROUP MASSIVELY OVERSOLD? (SUF)". There is an outside chance that the market has got it wrong and the brave will clean up bigtime but, more likely, if it looks like it's in trouble, feels like it's in trouble and acts like it's in trouble, it's usually in trouble. SFI wasn't 'oversold', it went bust as the market indicated it would and the chances must be that this one will go the same way. Anyone buying now is simply taking a gamble on very, very long odds. Regards, Ian | jeffian
23/6/2005 21:06 | If the situation is so bad why the MM is so keen to buy it, by the act "had to raise the bid again because nobody would sell."??? It is not the first time where RNS is so bad but someone-in-the-know collect all the panic sells in a protect large order manner , ... could it be this case?? Any comment? | patience_is_a_virtue
23/6/2005 17:22 | This one is bust. Sell up and move on. | lord butterstock
23/6/2005 17:20 | Many early 'buys' were actually sells. The mm had to raise the bid again because nobody would sell. The offer hardly moved (after the nitial drop) so the mm were happy to sell what they had. The question is, is it oversold? If the company really had firm commitments from clients then the price could easily go back to 2p or above, but they haven't said that yet. | goliard
23/6/2005 15:55 | Surprisingly quite a few buys today. Looks like Jovi2 isn't alone in his thinking. | miamigo
23/6/2005 13:26 | I never owned this share But today I have taken 2 lot of 100.000 as I belive that a rescue plane is more than possible and cash flow sorted this is back above the 2p mark. My reasons to but that the possibility of a rescue plan is far higher than 25% or 1in4 chance for a return of approx 4/1 sorry 4 my english jovi | jovi2
23/6/2005 12:56 | glenn, As I have often said from the early days of this thread, the progress of ASR has always reminded me of IFTE (IFT) in which I lost some money and that's what stopped me putting my money in here, so I think it's quite useful leaving these threads untouched for future reference. My disaster is going to be ELC, I fear, although I did call it a 'speculative punt'. Anyway, this one is not quite dead yet; it may be rescued or taken over, although I doubt there's much upside in the share price in those circumstances. Regards, Ian | jeffian
23/6/2005 11:41 | hi jeff you may be right!!!!! | glennborthwick

23/6/2005 09:49 | AQUILO (AQL)going to 6p! Fact time. AQL results are due out by 30 June, The results are forecast to be better than the directors have indicated. The share price is now rising from its lows and this is about to bounce up. get in quick before you miss this great chance at making some money. its my opinion but if I were you I would buy some now, 6p is the short term target and longer term my target is 10p. The price has not fallen below 2p for a very long time so the downwards risk is very small. The share price is up again today and will continue toward the 6p level before resting. Its my opinion but is easy money IMHO | happydays3
23/6/2005 09:48 | glenn, I'm not sure it's in the spirit of a bb to edit out a header post when things go against you! Given that an element of stockmarket performance is history repeating itself, I find that the disasters are often as useful as the winners when trying to make investment decisions. I would have left it for posterity. Regards, Ian | jeffian
23/6/2005 09:46 | Well in someways maybe, but recently the bbs on this company have been dormant. But about a year or two ago , when things looked much rosier, the management were bullish about the contract wins they had achieved, the flight testing approval certificate and all seemed to make this a good recovery play. Hind sight is a wonderfull thing. I'm very curious why people are buying this morning. Bid now back up to 0.5p | miamigo
23/6/2005 09:34 | Its obviously been over ramped more like. | lord butterstock
23/6/2005 09:31 | It's obviously been oversold. | miamigo

23/6/2005 09:29 | Hold it lads... some buyers. Someone knows something. No ramping intended! | miamigo
23/6/2005 09:14 | would the last one out please turn off the lights! | j bravo esq
23/6/2005 08:30 | There we go. 0.25p on the bid. MM having a laugh. | goliard |
