Weak holders are drifting away while the astute are quietly acumulating imo.

We shall see what we shall see.

Dell most large sells have been below bid if you have followed this closely. I have actually sold blocks over 100K at bid or above. If the seller was desperate then they take whats offered.

The share price is weak but regular large purchases and small sales suggests those in the know are buying and MM's are taking advantage of the small shareholder-as always. This share is still on my buy list (well increase as I already hold)

nigthepig,

Likewise here.

imo the company are making good and steady headway in the right direction and heading toward ultimate profitability.

The fall in the share price is mostly irrelevant and the companies overall performance and future outlook is what keeps me holding and topping up here.

A very eloquent 'summing up' jeffian which I will not argue with.
I do my own research, have my own agenda, and state this company are nowhere near survival status.

nigthepig,

What is to disagree about? The facts are that ASR has a gross profit margin around 25% and an administrative overhead stuck at around £1.6m per year so it needs to turn over around £6.4m to break even. In 2004, despite a 323% increase in sales over 2003, it only achieved £4.33m and consequently lost £695k; in the first half of 2005, it achieved sales of £1.97m and lost £390k. Most of these sales are one-off contracts, so they need not only to replicate those each year but also generate substantial additional and sustainable sales. In other words, they need to be announcing new deals every month or so just to stay in business, so I don't understand why Bantam feels that 'any' deals announced will lead the share price to rise significantly. For this company, new deals are a necessity not a luxury! You will note that, but for new fundraising, it would have run out of money by now and without a significant increase in deals it will do so again with the options of further fundraising/dilution, throwing itself into the arms of a better-funded competitor (as IFTE did with Kidde) or.......insolvency. As someone else said above, look at that graph at the top of the thread; it's got to be telling you something and it's not a pretty sight.

Bantam,

At the risk of repeating a point I've made before, I doubt that "any" deals will raise the price given that they need to achieve a significant increase in turnover just to achieve breakeven and survive! If they don't do "any" deals soon, they will go bust; if they do, they may stagger on; but it will require a substantial and sustained increase in dealflow to achieve the profitability necessary to secure the company's future. "Any" deal is not enough!

Sorry to disagree with you guys but I am still quietly confident about these.

MM's are happy to take any volume you care to throw at them as well.

I seriously believe that these will be over 4p within a few months and even higher if there are any new contract deals announced.

Still only time will tell.

All imho of course.

Exactly, mashman (new low today). Although never a holder, I've had them on my watchlist but I fear my prediction of 15 months ago is the more likely outcome:

rhiannon - 2004 was last year!

(assuming you are referring to the £1.25mln Doncaster contract at the top of ASR's investor news page. Otherwise, please clarify).
