03/5/2005 09:06 | Knew it wouldn't take you long to turn up dell. Seeing as I am not holding what say you ? | knowing
03/5/2005 09:05 | looks like they have blown the 500,000 already and looking for more cash. Another company that should be struck off imho | pictureframe
03/5/2005 09:04 | what price placing....? 1p...or less. | mcjj
03/5/2005 09:04 | Knowing - perhaps, you now realise that you should have listened to jeffian and other bears of this stock, instead of making puerile comments to them..... Rgds dell | dell314
03/5/2005 09:03 | Oh dear, another investment down the pan by the looks of it, I'm just lucky I didn't have much invested in this one. | enewman36
03/5/2005 08:58 | Dear me. Sorry for you guys that are in, hope no-one gets too badly burnt. | mashman
29/4/2005 16:33 | It was RAF Finningley. | deanforester
28/4/2005 06:56 | Quite a discussion on Radio 4 about Robin Hood Airport Doncaster opening today. The first UK Airport for 40 years I think. This was the old RAF Filongley (spelt right?) and although not mentioning Avionics it is important to note that this was a big contract for Avionics this year which must now of been completed. | jda
27/4/2005 11:28 | One small point if I may. Being prepared to miss the first few pence (assuming few to be 3). At current buy availability of 1.85ish that represents about a 250% gain. The next few would only represent about 60%. Excuse rough figures, I couldn't be bothered to work it out exactly bantam | bantam175
27/4/2005 11:14 | Knowing - I also seem to remember you promising that you weren't going to post again, just after your last ASR pump'n'dump. Presumably, you then bought in again at a lower price and proceeded to share your incessant drivel with us, yet again... As Jeffian does actually appear to be capable of sensible observations and some useful calculations, I'd have thought that reasonable holders(as opposed to ramping idiots) might actually appreciate his thoughts... Rgds dell | dell314
27/4/2005 11:11 | Fair enough. As stated we will have to agree to differ. Bantam | bantam175
27/4/2005 10:50 | Jeffian anything positive to say ? I can remember you saying that you were not going to post as you had no interest in the stock ! | knowing
27/4/2005 10:42 | Bantam, I'm not a holder; it's been on my watchlist since the early days and I've decided not to go in (yet, anyway) for the reasons given. If they pull off the deals necessary to survive and prosper, then there'll be plenty of time to get in and I'd rather miss the first few pennies of a rise than lose the lot! I'm not 'running them down'; I'm trying to inject a bit of reality and contrary argument when I see posts like Responsible Lad's 'fillyourboots' post and your suggestion that buying now would be 'astute'. A challenge makes everyone re-think and justify their own position which is no bad thing. Regards, Ian | jeffian
27/4/2005 10:13 | Jeffian, You seem determined to run down this stock but I can't see why? Are you a holder? If so why, given your views? If not why are you bothering to even follow a stock that you describe as a falling knife let alone continuously run them down? Did you sell at a loss previously? Yes they do need more contracts. What makes you think they won't get them? They are already generating repeat business over here though not in the amounts required yet but they are getting there. Year on year is progressing nicely imo. Also the share price will be based on what punters are prepared to pay, not what the companies worth. These were over 6p intraday just over a year ago before closing lower. Good news could push them back up there again. I think we will just have to agree to differ. I will continue to hold and accumulate at these figures, you must do as you will. Regards bantam | bantam175
27/4/2005 09:50 | China? Is that the same China that stood back and allowed Rover to die so they could pick over the bones and get what they wanted for next to nothing? I wouldn't want to be relying on the Chinese to bail you out, Bantam! As for a 12p share price, that implies EPS of around £800k (taking a market-average PER of 14) at some stage in the reasonably foreseeable future which would require a turnover of £10m p.a. at current margins. Some way to go yet. I think you described those grabbing this falling knife as 'astute'; unless you have certain knowledge of contracts generating sustainable turnover of c.£6m p.a. turnover required to achieve breakeven, then I'm afraid it looks more like a case of the usual penny-stock mentality of 'sh*t-or-bust'. Regards, Ian | jeffian
27/4/2005 09:32 | I'll give you one. ASR have a toehold in asia. IF they can get a few contracts in China, and IF they can do a good job and get repeat business, then they you may see the share price around 10-12p. IF they do an excellent job and are in the front of the herd seeking business there, they may become a preferred supplier. Share price anyones guess. While these are big IFs' they are possible and while these are still very speculative they could bring enormous rewards for patience. Also while these possibilies exist, they should have no problem in raising more cash for interim periods should they need it. All imho of course. They could go down the pan tomorrow but I doubt it. You pays your money and you takes your chance. Bant | bantam175
26/4/2005 21:09 | Can you give us some reasons why ? | knowing
26/4/2005 16:23 | dell314 is a paid de-ramper probarlly by the LSE, to encourage the selling of shares as well as buying of them. A lot of people do tend to hold onto shares for far too long and Dell will help persuade you to sell them all. As in Avoinics they are a sure must for anybodys portfolio. I would even recommend them to orphans and widows. At this price they are a steal. As they say to buy low and to sell high is the art of the game. Rollup rollup, get your orders in. | responsible lad
26/4/2005 16:03 | I also made good money on EVS so well done. | jda
26/4/2005 15:23 | Probably caught a stop loss. Someone could be kicking themselves. I think these have far more potential than EVS and I held them for 3 years before finally getting considerably more than my money back. All imho dyor etc Bant | bantam175
26/4/2005 15:15 | Well done Bantam175 as I said earlier I still believe these will be a good investment and could bounce quickly-however the distressed seller has been at it again dumping another 100k at 1.5p which is beneath price. They are certainly making me distressed anyhow. | jda
26/4/2005 14:53 | Well I've just got another £500 worth @1.85. Would have done more but cash tied up in RGT and thats zipping at the moment. Personally consider it worth the risk. Do your own thing guys. | bantam175
26/4/2005 14:29 | yes-trend is not good and this from a believer. | jda |
