24/6/2019 13:53 | Egon Von Greyerz – Matterhorn Asset Management "...once it [$1350] is broken, the correction of gold is finally over and we are on our way to new highs and much beyond..." "...The break has now finally taken place and I doubt that we will see $1,350 decisively broken on the downside in my lifetime. The 6 year resistance line has now become an extremely strong support line." "...gold will go quickly to $1,650+ on its way to new highs and far above that. As I have said many times, we will see levels that no one can imagine today." If he's right, we're sitting on a gold mine. | crossfirecssf
24/6/2019 13:44 | Healthy pull back as was looking over bought. Gaining strength to move forward again. | plasybryn
24/6/2019 13:31 | Yes Soulsauce, that would be good, but I'll settle for 2.3. It may not come, but I'm just keen to increase my holding in small increments. I'm no expert, and due to the spread and the pattern at the moment it's nearly impossible, but if you don't try... | crossfirecssf
24/6/2019 13:11 | CSSF what's your target price for trading back in? 2.2 - 2.25p? | soulsauce
24/6/2019 12:52 | Think buyers may step in sub 2.4 with this gold price | bigglesbingham
24/6/2019 12:30 | Gold still going up? Where will it stop? | drh3
24/6/2019 12:30 | $1410 showing strength | bigglesbingham
24/6/2019 12:29 | Somerville influence again I feel . The stock moved significantly on small trades always has but conversely will move quickly on large volume. | bigglesbingham
24/6/2019 12:18 | Lol indeed. | soulsauce
24/6/2019 12:03 | Thanks Bigglesbingham, I'm just trading around 20% of my holding selectively and being patient. If nothing else I've learned all there is to know about patience holding AAU... | crossfirecssf
24/6/2019 10:58 | All I'd say is if you change your philosophy with the wrong share then it could cost you a lot of money. But good luck whichever route you pursue | bigglesbingham
24/6/2019 10:21 | Looks like the Somerville piece and the Turkish election results have taken the steam out for now. Hopefully Salinbas initial findings and the Panmure meeting might fire it up again. | soulsauce
24/6/2019 10:17 | I'm in for the long-term, but trading where I can. I'm tired of losing a fortune following it all the way up and then all the way down. It's time to use the pull-backs to grow my position. It's all coming good now, but I've left a small fortune on the table over the past 3 years while it's gone from 1p to 2p, back to 1.3p, up to 2p. You get the picture. It's time to recoup. | crossfirecssf
24/6/2019 10:01 | Suspect that now AAU has been rising for some time one or two big traders may have taken notice. Could be a tree shake coming. If so maybe an opportunity for those wanting a longer term position at an attractive price. I may be wrong tho... | thanksamillion
24/6/2019 07:53 | Gold above $1400, expect silver will follow soon enough...are people starting to take notice yet? | ileeman
24/6/2019 07:47 | I find it surprising that someone could suggest that Turkish politics is not relevant. I would ask SHG holders whether Tanzanian politics is irrelevant and see what answers you get! | jc2706
24/6/2019 07:46 | There is an unofficial guideline that you don't trade gold bulls. Gold shares in the strongest period of gold bull markets have a habit of surprising in their strength and can remain technically overbought for long periods, consistently rising rather than pulling back. | jc2706
24/6/2019 07:38 | Hi David I hope you are well. You beat me on EUA holdings but I am holding double your AAU. Like you I consider both long term holds. We are in the right place at the right time imho. Good luck to all holders. | charles clore
24/6/2019 07:28 | Good week coming up here - imo. | someuwin
24/6/2019 04:14 | It's fantastic to see gold breakout of it's trading range and close the week at $1400 on Fed interest rate concerns. Next Friday's close is very important technically because it's the end of the month. If gold is going where I think it's going AAU should multiply in value from these levels. I hold 1 million shares and will not be selling any of them. This is a long-term hold. | davidspringbank
24/6/2019 00:33 | Trading these is next to impossible at the moment with the pattern and the spread. I sold 281,000 on Friday at lunchtime at 2.53p, then bought 284,800 at 2.48 5 mins before close, so I gained only 3,800 shares which is slim pickings but it all adds up. Adds a bit of an edge to the day! Gold’s straight back on the move again at $1404, and still heading for $1440 initially if the chart speaks the truth. Could be another strong week. It’s finally upon us after many many years of waiting. :o) | crossfirecssf
23/6/2019 22:39 | Basically i agree with you Kirbs4 and Theduke420 Im not turkish and therefore have no true input other than that of a investor in a turkish gold mine. However, i do feel for Turkey as a country that they have had and are still having a tough time, thankfully Trump's attention appears to have been diverted towards Iran. However this attention will likely have a interesting affect on pog. I do get good 'vibes' about AAU attitude to us as investors but also to their employees and the environment. What ever happens in Turkey commodity companies should be ok. | swallowsflysouth
23/6/2019 22:14 | I agree politics in Turkey is relevant here. Whether it would make or break the price is another matter but it is relevant. There are two sides to every story of course, whether it be the govt being a customer potentially being at threat, or on the flip side the demand for Turkish gold rocketing during the 2018 election due to the unease around Lira.Relevant but not a show driver or stopper imo. | kirbs4
23/6/2019 22:02 | These small gold stocks are really starting to move.. Check out the newsflow and price action at SRB, some outstanding news at just the right time... Gold is the place to be for the foreseeable... | gregpeck7 |
