21/6/2019 16:09 | Word will certainly be spreading across the area, especially if there's the sniff of a possible rival to Hot Maden. | crossfirecssf
21/6/2019 15:25 | I could be wrong i think from memory someone said that Kerim partily wanted to do a share buyback scheme to help cash strapped employees who wanted to sell a few shares avoid trading costs and be given a fair share price My personnal opinion is that it is most likely wealthy Turks who are aware of what is occurring in the gold market and looking for somewhere to invest some of their turkish lira and wish to invest in a local gold mine. They might have some local knowledge of the history of the area, or picked up on the high company confidence gleaned from staff/relatives of what is occurring in AAU, or indeed know Kerim and are inpressed by his demeanour. If i had a local gold mine i would certainly be looking to invest if i felt it was a interesting investment. If you want to know what is occurring in any given vicinity you talk to the locals | swallowsflysouth
21/6/2019 14:01 | And the sudden interest in Turkey is because .................:-D | shortarm
21/6/2019 13:50 | It's great for employees to hold shares too. More skin in the game and they also benefit from the fruits of their labour. Win - win. | skara brae

21/6/2019 13:34 | According to the adfvn flag counter this chatroom is attracting new visitors from Turkey. | swallowsflysouth
21/6/2019 13:32 | Yes, the price just keeps rising, so just keep selling and holding the majority... until.... Oh No! I've got F__k all left!!? What a spoon... | crossfirecssf
21/6/2019 13:32 | I know I was erring caution to Nov31 but I meant quite a way up from this. Surely only at the start. | soulsauce
21/6/2019 13:26 | What a doosh this Somerville is. | soulsauce
21/6/2019 13:16 | Ariana – share price surges though next target, time to cash in a little more (but hold the majority strongly) By Nigel Somerville, the Deputy Sheriff of AIM | Friday 21 June 2019 | carcosa
21/6/2019 12:59 | Well I've see it with my own eyes , I'm a trained chemical engineer and all I can say is it's ran extremely professionally and it's real!!! | bigglesbingham
21/6/2019 12:59 | Well I added a few more this a.m. purely on the pog and other stocks I hold in gold doing well and none gold doing nothing. My 85k moved the price up early on. | cinoib
21/6/2019 12:57 | Dont want to jinx it but gold has continued to look very strong after major resistance break, I would say we are going much higher. $1500-$1600 gold price how much would that be worth to a small cap like AAU. | ileeman
21/6/2019 12:29 | Excellent to see the true value starting to be realised here | bossman1978
21/6/2019 12:24 | Lol do any of us JaynesDad :-/ | soulsauce
21/6/2019 12:20 | I don't have the sort of shareholdings that Nov or Biggles have, but I do have a substantial holding by most peoples standards. What I like with AAU is that, ignoring something like a collapse in POG or an unfriendly coup in Turkey, we are underpinned well at the current level. It is hard to see a scenario when Kerim says 'Sorry everyone, but we've got it horribly wrong and there isn't any more Gold/Silver'. At worst case the current share price is the best it will get (after all, it is the level at which the investment community currently think the company is worth). Conversely Salinbas etc may massively re rate the share price So, as far as I can tell, this is a one way bet. Wealth Warning: I don't have an unblemished investment history! | jaynesdad
21/6/2019 12:15 | No problem Nov31 I wish you well whatever you do. | soulsauce
21/6/2019 12:02 | 21 million shares? Nice! | shortarm
21/6/2019 11:56 | Wow..2.1%. Can see you will be a millionaire Nov31. Hope you put them in your ISA | deanmatlazin
21/6/2019 11:53 | Soul, of course you are right. No seriously you are - but there is too much good news coming what with Salinbas news coming and the upward surge in price of gold that i won't be top slicing yet. If price drops again, then worst is I've missed out on a nice hoiday by ot top slicing, and whilst i know you must never fall in love with a share, by all objective criteria Kerim, Zac and Michael are doing a cracking job and there is so much more to come. AAU could just be a fun ride and no more, but with 2.1% it has the potential to be a life changer for me. | nov31
21/6/2019 11:44 | Paying 2.6p for just over 18,000 shares. | mcmather
21/6/2019 11:21 | Nov31 whilst I commend that, never lose sight of the fact that strange things can happen and it is always good to bank some profits. Let's not forget the coup in Turkey could have turned out very differently. I remember at Gkp people talking about their car of choice once the sea of oil was found yet it turned in to a dog. Just a word to the wise really. | soulsauce
21/6/2019 11:14 | Still intend to hold all of my shares. I’ve been in Aau for over 10 years and it has been a long wait, but as well as ounces in the ground we have a great management team and that’s why I’m here. Ten years here already and adding all the time. but funnily enough I feel the ride is just about to begin! | nov31
21/6/2019 10:56 | Charles one of those two oilies is waking up too ;-) | soulsauce
21/6/2019 10:44 | 78steve, Are you mixing 'k's and 'm's? I think that it is more complex than that, especially as this is a JV. | jc2706 |
