The view tends to be that institutions take notice around 100m+ so you might have to wait another month or two. :-)

They issue a note every year at same time. My hope is as the market cap gets to 30m institutions start taking notice , salinbas results come out, divs from JV (although think they will hold back for kizilchuk ) tarsvan update, quarterly update ahead of expectations, gold price rising!!!

I don't know, they've not done a lot that's for sure. It seems odd that they're having another shareholder meeting and update so soon after the last one and the price takes off the week before. Maybe it's just the gold price floating everything, but this is quite a spike. It just feels like something else is afoot...

Just bought in here (c. 1 million shares) after waiting quite a while. Break out to the upside + gold 5 year break out made me act ( would like to see $1400 to have it really confirmed). However, I think AAU fundamentally under valued on what its currently delivering and has been for the last 12 months, there is the additive resource possibilities to Kilzitepe but if Salinbas comes in half decent, that will provide tremendous and limitless upside.

Very true JC. Everyone has their risk tolerances I guess, and it's wise of you to exercise caution. Agreed, once gold is really motoring I believe that we'll see a bull market in gold stocks the like of which we've not seen before. It's been a hell of a wait, but it'll be worth it in the end.

@Charles to be honest did not expect to get in at this price with gold breaking $1360, so decided to buy.

Main exposure to gold is FRES.

I would also call this breakout the major one but it needs to hold at or above this level (preferably above 1400 for my liking) to confirm it. I would like to see the weekly break above $1400. Once that happens then I am happy to put in much more in the gold miners I prefer. If the gold bull gets into full swing then it is worth buying some of the old rubbish that is sitting around the market as well because it will all be lifted.
