You can only buy little bits at a time, they flat refuse to sell you anything over 50,000. It took me a while to get 100,000.

Theres been a few big buys but could just be someone with deep pockets who has discovered AAZ. I don't think it infers news is on the way.

Positives look to be a good update, drilling update and resource, new licence or even a takeover should Mr Vaziri decide to take life easy.

Not sure zhockey. There's another 100k today that is a buy.

Oh and steer clear of Atalaya IMO (I too still pop in on that occasionally and saw your post)... I moved out of that basket when the PSOE won the local election back in 2012 or something like that. A good decision as it since got carved up and now the companies with the off take deals will run it to suit their, not wider shareholders, interests.

Oh yes, sorry matt, I'm sure it was only the uninformed who thought it was likely to go bust.
It was always an outside possibility but only that. I guess I had the "good fortune" (or put in the effort) to have ensured I met with Reza as often as possible.
It is those meetings that convinced me it was a sound business with a possibly fabulous future. Sure he's an optimistic CEO who over promises sometimes but with time You get used to that and you can see through it with careful consideration. Above all though it was clear he had a realistic vision of the development of the company for the future.
Granted the signs were always there for others, none bigger than Reza's loan to the company.
It was then down to the appetite for risk as to whether one bought with relish at 5p or not. Like hedgehog I'm also grateful to bash, I love my hundreds of thousands at 5p and they have ensured my break even is far gone, no hindsight needed.

Ultimately though, as I guess most of us believe, anyone getting in here will win big. If I didn't believe that I'd be selling and I'm not. No way. Not one share.

Lovely, lovely. Rock on AAZ

I like Mr Bashirov, he helped me average down so much I'm now nearly showing an AAZ profit. However, I'm still not selling anything here for a very long while yet. Need to get back on an even footing 'as was' before Bash skewered the market.

broken downward or spiked down? There are too many black swans lurking out there that gold should, I stress should, move way in advance of $1400 in time. Yesterday's move looked like an orchestrated slap down on spot imo. NFP's alone this week could reverse that move in a flash. Would be interesting to see the LBMA and Comex data...

Good to see a move up despite the POG . News on drilling is my bet for the reason we have moved up . Many on here said we were foolish that we hedged our gold price. Its not looking quite so foolish now. I still dont buy gold reaching above 1400. It has been stuck in a narrow channel for a longtime but has now broken downward.

The casual observer may have deduced it was going bust but, surely no one even slightly familiar with the company could have reached that conclusion. For the last time of saying, for any new investors ... the only reason the share price became so depressed was the forced selling by Mr. Bashirov who, by all accounts, gig hi self in a pickle financially & need to sell up.Couple that fact with, from a TA perspective, an unfilled acceleration gap just sub 4p.Bashirov is gone, the gap is filled, the debt is coming down fast & the company has been very, very clear on its intent to broaden its assets base.No reason why this should not revert to where it was when Bashirov started selling .. there has been no intervening equity dilution.

...and 12 months at 5p, but that isn't a lot of help to anyone now.
Plenty of people thought this was going bust, now it is clear it's turning into a money making machine instead so they want in now.

I think there is something big news wise but just want to have a bit of certainty on the 20p I think once it crosses 20p it will move quickly higher until then I'll buy on any dips down to 15p as its stuck between 14p and 20p, if it crosses 20p on no news I'll buy as that will signal the end of a shakeout for me , if there is big news this month I may not get my chance as if it's released while at these levels I think it will move up to 34p very quick imho dyor

Usual moves for someone acquiring. Move it up then look for a few weaker holders to bail, hopefully for them it becomes self full filling and a few more bail.

I do wonder what is going on behind the scenes, Chovdar? new licence?

I suspect csmwss that there are a crowd of folk with the same idea & the MM's know that also.
Round number psychology usually provide temporary barriers such as the 20p level here.
MM's will be wanting to try and shake as many out as they can before it crosses the 20p mark, else the inevitable buying pressure, once it crosses, will leave them very short on the stock.
Be interesting how they play it from here on
