Whilst I wouldn't call myself an expert:-

An 'uncrossing trade' is a trade occurring during the daily auctions of SETS or SETSmm stocks. By definition it occurs at the uncrossing price which is derived by orders placed during the auction period.

Just out of interest does any of you experts out there know what an 'uncrossing trade' is?

OK, this is my first summer post!..............and despite all the doom and gloom going around it looks like we are in for a bit of warm weather. Friday should be pretty warm with the odd spot touching 22C and the weekend reasonable, although not quite so warm. Through next Mon-Thurs we are likely to see temperatures touching 24-25C in places with a general warm feel over much of the UK. Not sure about after that yet...will post. However, much more like summer methinks.

No harm in taking some profits. However, they state that a \'normal\' summer could easily compensate for the Olympics and looking at the figures it seems that the installation business made 600k extra profit from the Olympics, which is not as much as I would have thought. There may be a trade investment income in the current year although they did get 2 payments in the 2012/2013 year which would suggest 220k ish extra.

So, we need to find maybe 880k to equal the 12/13 year (all else being equal) and we know that they have done very well with the cold weather, and pumps are still doing well. A normal summer and some cold weather at the end of the year will more than compensate for the Olympics etc and that\'s without organic/overseas growth. And of course, net funds will continue growing at around £20k per day with around £22m possible by year end, and thats after a 10p dividend. All in all, plenty of evidence to stay invested I reckon but we all have our own strategies.

Yes I took some profits on part of my stake.

No Olympics, Less/No Income from Trade Investments, Higher Pension costs for the current year.

Against this organic expansion in existing and new territories.

Profit taking gaining momentum. Shame really as the price is still lower than it should be. Looks like we may get a bit of a dip.

I got mine today also. Do you all think we can get 3 millions worth in dividends again this time around? Any one good at figures can work out how much each.

Tell you what, the annual report sounds much more optimistic than the Chairmans statement. The Group expansion through Europe and the Middle East is kicking on well with France and Switzerland the next targets. A half decent summer through Europe this year will see net funds well above £20m and a decent divi by year end. All looking pretty good and sounds as though the group is being well run.

A large special dividend would provide the ideal rocket fuel to take us above 300p. Think I might be a seller around the 350p mark. Not too demanding given where the rest of the market is now trading.

They did the same 2 years ago when they rose from 90p to 225p. Just kept going up with very little trade. With only 4m shares on the market things happen quickly and dramatically. They may have some big buys in the pipeline not announced yet, or it may be a rerating. They've never had getting on for £20m assets in the past either. Who knows? Always said £3 would be a fairer price.

Nothing to do with stock i believe as trading volume is nothing special with sells along the way. Glad i listened to a friend.

Firm opening.....to say the least

Any ideas as to reason for recent strength other than lack of stock for the modest recent buying?
