27/9/2013 08:01 | Really solid results. Sounds like an additional Interim Dividend is nailed on too. | cockerhoop
27/9/2013 07:46 | OK, so they came out today, I was nearly right! A good set of results I reckon. Nearly £21m net funds and looking like the promise of another dividend later in the year. Profits up despite the Olympics last year. I was worried they would be too cautious on the trading statement due to the Olympics last year, but that was a pretty upbeat statement for them! All in all things looking good and they should have getting on for £25m funds by the end of the year. | keithfox
26/9/2013 07:34 | OK, sorry about that but the fellow at asy obviously gave me the date of last years interims, although I made it plain I wanted the date of this years. Looking more closely at things, they have their board meeting on Tuesday and announce the results on Wednesday (used to announce Thursday) so it looks like the results will be announced next Wednesday. Sorry I got you all excited. | keithfox
25/9/2013 10:01 | Tks Gentlemen | ignoble
25/9/2013 08:01 | I was told by a company spokesman that the interims would be announced to the stockmarket 26th Sept. I have no reason to think he lied to me but have not double-checked. I am expecting them tomorrow. | keithfox
24/9/2013 22:30 | Not according to my diary no... | thorpematt
24/9/2013 17:05 | Keith, Are we still expecting the results on Thursday ? | ignoble
11/9/2013 21:15 | Interesting that someone thought they were worth 4p over the offer price. | keithfox
11/9/2013 18:54 | Tks for the Middle East news | ignoble
11/9/2013 18:50 | I see someone got stiffed today paying 4p over the Offer for 5k. Couple of new stories about the Middle East side of the business on the Blog:- hxxp://www.khansaheb I like the 5km pipeline one - seems like a big contract performed to me. | jeff h
09/9/2013 15:26 | Tks Keith ... | ignoble
09/9/2013 12:54 | OK, results will be announced 26th Sept. I reckon the good bits and bad bits may be as follows:- Bad bits The Olympics would have added maybe £0.5m to last years first half. Last year was good for middle east investment money coming in. This year will see higher pension provisions. Good bits Net funds will be steadily going up, should be up to £18m or so, but actually nearer £20m by the end of September. They paid out nearly £1m in share buybacks last first half but havn't bought back any this first half. The coldest late winter/spring on record should have helped the heating side, hopefully offsetting the Olympic money. The warm weather of July and, to a lesser extent August, should have helped an awful lot, hopefully more than offsetting the Olympics although we wont get details of that yet, but surely they will have to give a pretty optimistic outlook, or at least mention it! The hot weather was even more marked over Europe and with the company expanding steadily there, it should have been advantageous. | keithfox
04/9/2013 16:41 | Here's Hoping ! | ignoble
04/9/2013 16:20 | UK summer warmest, driest and sunniest since 2006 300813 I'm very surprised the share price hasn't broken out since the last high in late May '13 ! Effectively you can buy at the same price already knowing that the air con business will have increased dramatically due to the hot weather ! The summer has been that good compared to the previous 2 years I believe that the current share price is a bargain ! I've no doubt the results later this month will show a significant increase in revenue and profit . IMVHO I think we should be looking at a 10-20% rise in the short term ( not forgetting there is likely to be an additional fat dividend announced shortly thereafter ) ! GLA | trader_3

09/8/2013 08:50 | Looks like some decent weather next week, especially in the south. Not as hot but hopefully enough to keep things ticking over. Yes, those trades were uncrossed again, whatever that means. That Broker/Advisor is good at acquisitions/sales etc! Funny, cos they have only just changed advisor. Must be up to something. | keithfox |
