RNS or whatever they are called on ADVFN saying Mr Murray Senior (JG) gifted his son Jean Pierre 1.2 million Sykes shares.
Think JP is the younger son...nice gift worth over £3.5 million !

The trading has been interesting over the last week or so. Can't remember more than 20 sells in a row without a buy....certainly can't remember that sort of trading not depressing the price, in fact they actually went up a bit last week. Yes the 62k is interesting, that's 1.5% of the shares on the market, buy or sell?
The tidal flooding is not the same as inland floods. The water comes and goes in a rush i.e. no real need to pump it out as it's already gone. However, there may be some 'drying' trade.

Guessing this tide surge may provide business for Sykes as their drying equipment, pumps and the like may be utilised to help people dry out their homes.

Just to confirm that it will be much colder next week with some snow about, possible a fair bit. It will get asy going which is pretty good as its an earlyish start for them. Not sure if it'll last longer but signs are it could. Will update.

Very good question ...goes back years before Crest & the like.
Just a date to let the holder know if he will receive his divi cheque direct from the Registrar or if his Broker will "claim" the divi from the seller on his behalf because he is not registered on the Shareholders list as yet.
