16/5/2013 17:51 | 1p spread....many years since I've seen that in ASY ,if ever . Mind you ,I remember when there were 3 Market Makers More to come ? Here's hoping ... (no advice intended etc) | ignoble
16/5/2013 16:03 | Today's rise gives us a market cap of over £100 million ... (according to advfn) | ignoble

16/5/2013 15:25 | Could we be seeing some strong price action atlast? Ali. | investali
01/5/2013 08:08 | Look pretty cheap to me but the market makers aren't exactly encouraging anyone to trade, you can't even buy or sell 2500 on line.I suspect the shares would be trading well north of £3.00 if they were more liquid. | spooky
01/5/2013 07:40 | Tks Keith ... Agree with your thoughts | ignoble
01/5/2013 07:34 | Not bad. Stripping out the property sale in 2011 the eps has increased 30%. Usual delayed dividend, not sure why they are doing that as they know they can afford one. Net assets over £15m by end 2012 which is higher than I expected and on target for over £20m by end 2013. They must have had a good start to this year but have decided not to go overboard with that as they are without the Olympics this year. The cold and wet weather so far this year will go some way to offsetting the Olympic revenues of last year. The most important part of this business is the summer a/c rental/sale which has been rubbish the last few years, so they are once again hoping for a good summer and being a bit cautious in the meantime. Anyway, its all looking pretty good to me and if we have a reasonable summer, this year could outdo last year even without the Olympics. | keithfox
30/4/2013 15:18 | Tks Keith ... | ignoble
30/4/2013 13:33 | There will be a div but the last couple of years they've left it until later in the year 'to see how things are going etc'. However, if the gov wants some money then anything is allowed i.e an immediate 50p div is possible! A few years back he wanted some money for his hotels and he declared a 28p div, and that was when there was no net assets and he had to borrow £20m to pay for it. They can afford a good div. | keithfox
30/4/2013 12:58 | Thanks - interesting points you raise there; do you think we're in with a shout of a div ? | dave129
30/4/2013 10:48 | Had to say something before the results! Trying to compare the second half with second half 2011, it should be better. 2011 was a rubbish summer and it was dry too. OK, there was a cold spell before Xmas which helped things, but all in all not brilliant. 2012 second half also had rubbish summer weather and there was no cold weather before Xmas but it did have 2 months of Olympics and the whole period was wet, so the pumps must have done well. I would be hoping for somewhere around 25p eps for the year, which is lower than 2011 but that included the one off property sale profit of £3.1m. Without that the 2011 eps would have been 21p or so. Also, the net assets should be up to £14m or more by end 2012 and £16m by June this year, maybe a bit more. Also, there should be good news on trading so far this year with both pumps and heating doing well. Just need a hot summer now! Not sure about the share price, think it depends how much they play up this years trading so far. Also, it'll be interesting to hear news on some of these overseas operations. | keithfox

12/4/2013 09:26 | For info the prelims will be announced on 1st May. | keithfox
10/4/2013 20:20 | Yes I noticed the Lille story go missing as well. Seemingly though the depot has been open since Feb:- | jeff h
10/4/2013 07:50 | Indeed , I noticed that Would it be price sensitive ? Anybody walking through Lille would see the depot ...who knows ? Trust all is well | ignoble
10/4/2013 07:40 | The blog about Lille seems to have disappeared off the ASY website, very odd. It wouldn't be anything to do with the 2 months closed period prior to results etc would it? Price sensitive info. Don't really think so but it has definitely disappeared. | keithfox
09/4/2013 18:43 | Ramping up to something big?? Ali. | investali |
