I fully expect the fall to gather pace over the coming weeks, yesterday’s fall was maybe the start of what could be the doom year for AMC as reality sets in that the billions needed to fund the infrastructure alone make this project a none starter imo
Other more accessible mines are being mothballed due to the constant fall in commodities, with a world slow down its expected to get worse imo

RY certainly gave me the impression that the work from PFS onwards would be conducted with a partner or two.

Could they be the same potential strategic partners that have had a say in what is included in the PFS? I think so.

Solis, That’s my understanding as well apart from I read it TEO similar to BFS, RY will have a busy time ahead if he’s expected to get a PFS out and a TEO only has until 2021 to get all documents to the Russia government.

Anyone know where I can invest my money...

I'm particularly looking for an opportunity that has an unextractable asset, requires CAPEX of 15-20 times MCAP, has no cash and is plagued by pump and dumpers.

Oh and it's gotta lose an average of 8% a time on red days.

Give him a bit of leeway. I think you will find his rants are in the evening when in his cups. The rest of the time he contributes a lot.

Tad

My understanding from RY is that the two (pfs and TEO) are very similar in the base material but the accent of each is slightly different. The result is that a TEO can act as a base for the PFS and vice versa with only slight modifications.

What a load of hogwash posted here yesterday re “going into production, take over”, no infrastructure has been built let alone the money raised to even start such a massive demanding project costing upto or exceeding 1 $billion, as for a takeover, there is nothing here to take over ? Oh “the license”, yeh right, the Russians will really honour that if they choose to do it all themselves, I can just imagine Putin doing that haha, not one penny has been raised other than share finance issues and let’s be honest here, that’s just to pay wages!! Totally unbelievable imo
Talk about pure ramping !!!

Twigs3, I think ( can't remember definitely) but RY said in one of his interviews that he will only need pfs/teo because teo ( russian version of bfs ) got more details. He did say something like this, may be worth to listen to some of his interviews

Ok get it now. TEO is needed to satisfy the Russians but international standard BFS is needed to raise funds outside Russia so I assume both will be required.

Requirements of both local permitting and international fundraising are forcing increasing numbers of projects in Russia and CIS to carry out dual technical studies. The principal focus of Russian mining project design is to satisfy local regulatory requirements. However, the technical documents are not generally accepted by international banks for project finance outside Russia. Similarly, international study documents are not accepted for permitting in Russia. The purpose of this paper is to compare and contrast Russian and international approaches to mine technical studies and draw conclusions from this. The Russian design and permitting system is centered around two key statutory technical documents termed the TEO Konditsy and the TEO Project. These documents are subject to regulatory approval and are broadly equivalent to the international prefeasibility study and the feasibility study respectively. A comparison of study criteria suggests similar approaches are used for the main technical disciplines in project design by the time projects are at the point of construction, but there is divergence on environmental matters where the OVOS (Russian ESIA equivalent) differs from an ESIA in some significant areas. The key differences relate to project footprint, level of technical detailed required for baseline studies, level of public consultation, consideration and disclosure of information, labour, coverage of community and social issues and the preparation of a Social and Environmental Management System (SEMS). It has been noted that the Russian Design Institutes often leave the detailed economic analysis until after the TEO Konditsy. A common problem is design teams tend to look for ?technological solutions? without due concern for project economics. The end result of this can be mines that are overcapitalized and hence sub-optimal. It can be concluded that Design Institutes have the monopoly on Russian permitting reports and this is likely to continue. Similarly, Russian institutes generally do not prepare feasibility studies to international standards and this is likely to continue to be the case. Therefore to achieve the requirement of dual technical studies, the international consultants and Russian Design Institutes will need to cooperate on a joint work program. Key issues will be to ensure the most appropriate option studies are carried out at the right stages, that project economics are considered throughout the study, and that the environmental work program covers the additional studies necessary for the ESIA.

Twigs 3.
Now we already know either we have a J/V or a Take Over. I hope it is a T/O.
Well the Russian Gov. statement,Stating they thank the Peoples Republic of China, thanking them for their help in the development of Kun Mangier resource is good enough for me. No good looking for flies in the soup now !!
If A BFS is needed then the Chinese will help us get it. I personally think it is going to be Ginchuan. Do a bit more DYOR please.
