Actually skinwalker, it is another dollar. Share price fluctuations aside, we are producing and earning net income every day, albeit currently at an uneven rate.

Not a happy background for their attempts to secure funding for a 400 rising to 600MW Mtwara power plant:

1775 I have not got a clue of his/ her position. if any.. but FWIW I agree its impossible to tell if the trade in question was a buy or sell. I think that was the point although alcohol has an effect!!!

I only mentioned it because of my post yesterday when I mentioned my surprise at the lack of share movement (in either direction) despite the high volume in shares being traded. So when this substantial trade appeared I thought that this could possibly be an explanation. It wouldn't be the 1st time that mms marked down a price in order to fill a big buy order.
Maybe Grim Reap is short and doesn't like that idea ???

1775, maybe take the 'hit' and accept his main point? We all get it wrong at times no matter the intention. (yes I got the tap being turned on wrong!):-((

LFDMP you're right I did mean to say 1.29. Grim reaper you're obviously very intelligent to suss me out as being long. I thought I was being extremely obvious that I was long. Wish I was talking my WON book - but I'm afraid its my LOSS book at the moment.

Rubbish, you are only saying that to support your own position. Judging by the price action since the news that was wanted and begged for Id wager it was a sell, that has maybe held the price back but who knows.Unless an RNS follows or a poster admits to the trade none will know if its a buy or sell.Much easier to deal with facts than predictions especially with aex and its awful history. 1775 is obviously long and talking his won book. The fact is you do not know if it was a buy or sell, admit it.

Wish it was 5m @ 1.9 - think you'll find it was at 1.28 - unless of course you are seeing something I'm not.

Well now that 5m buy @ 1.9 explains why the mms were taking as much stock as they could get without knocking the price. Big buyer with an order in at a certain level. I wonder how much more he wants. He can have my 2mil.@10p if he wants. (If I had 2 mill.)

warbaby, "If KN-1 gas is, therefore, to replace Orca's "Additional Gas" then, on the surface, it looks to me like it would have to be for non economic reasons - unless of course that $3.62 price of Orca's is also a wellhead price with Songas being responsible for processing and transmission costs."

yes warbaby, I'm pretty sure the price does include processing and transportation so yes for Tanesco it would be for reasons other than just economics but as Tanesco and TPDC are both wholly owned Government parastatal organization, and as it would seem TPDC would benefit directly from the extra business generated by the gas being processed and transported through the TPDC/GOT new natural gas infrastructure then maybe there are political rather than commercial reasons for Tanesco to use TPDC gas in preference to Orca's gas.

19.1 page 48

Also the many disputes that Orca/Pan African Energy have incurred over the years with the Tanzanian authority's could have done very little with their relationship in installing mutual trust and confidence.

TRA demands 3.5bn/- tax from Pan Africa 22 February 2016 /

I think this week could be telling as I believe Orca are due to publish results, and it will be interesting to see whether an agreement has been reached with themselves and TPDC.

from last report page 7

"The US$1.2 billion government sponsored Tanzania National Natural Gas Infrastructure Project (“NNGIP”) is substantially complete.
Discussions between TPDC and the Company on commercial terms for future incremental gas sales resumed in October 2015. TPDC is currently working on a revised gas sales agreement with the Company to allow direct gas delivery to the NNGIP. Commercial terms remain a key condition to the Company’s
commitment to expanded Songo Songo development beyond the existing Songas infrastructure and to supply gas to the NNGIP."

Interesting that Neil Ritson says that the drill is currently onsite, ready to go at no cost.

I'd change the emphasis on that, BB. It's stored on site at no cost. Drilling won't be at no cost! What is important is that it is there, setup costs will be low and start up times will be low. Once AEX have sorted farm out, funding or whatever drilling should be able to start quickly, which eases the time pressures considerably.
