A Local's take yesterday on the October election.....and talking of trains.

"Tanzanians are not fools, all these Bollywood movies we have seen before with most actors being the old guard overstayed their welcome in government, what happen to NDC, when you guys brought it down to its knees? Today your asking for 5 years to change Tanzania, but you failed 8 times of the same 5 year period making it 40 years.
You have just awarded billions of usd worth of railway projects to Chinese companies, how many local companies are involved in these contracts? How do you promise to change the country without economically empowering local citizen?
Are you empowering Tanzanians or Chines? Corruption, greed to grab whatever before end of your term in office together with naivety is continuously sending the country into drains!
We promise you, all these manipulation, get rich quick schemes will not go unpunished, we will dig out all, prosecute, sentence and confiscate all ill gotten wealth massed by you all!"

We now know why the security cordon has been erected around Horse Hill. Its the quarantine site for the recent confirmed AS & AS2 outbreak.
Tiptop, Celticheart, haggis, and many other poor deluded souls have been 'collected' overnight and now languish at Horse Hill.
Apparently, the 'gas' discovery there is not quite what it seems. A US conglomerate has made progress converting hot air into gas. As we all know belching huge amounts of hot air goes hand in hand with AS2.
More on this story as it unfolds...

Warbaby. Post 52822 hits nail on head. To state the GSA is complete and in the same sentence stating parts of it are still outstanding gives the biggest indication to longer term holders to "load up, the trains about to leave the station" IMOThe next RNS will be transformational here and I dont think we will be waiting months for it.

And sod the boring and irrelevant Labour Leadership contest, the race for the CCM's Presidential nominee is far more interesting, especially as it's a competition among a dozen (so far) thieves. The comments tell the story:

"The GSA is complete except for the finalisation of the payment protection clauses and guarantees." - AEX today.

Wentworth 19th May - "•Continued working with the Tanzanian Government to finalise payment guarantee documentation in support of the Gas Sales Agreement for gas deliveries to the government owned pipeline."

Using Wentworth as a precedent and bearing in mind that they announced their GSA last September at $3.07 mcf, my guess is that there are two agreements for both AEX and WRL with two counter-parties. One being a gas sales agreement with TPDC/Energy Ministry as the counter-party and the other a payment guarantee agreement with the Bank of Tanzania or, more likely, their Treasury as the counter-party on that document.

Thus my guess is that AEX do have a GSA completed but are choosing not to disclose for the time being at what gas price.

Well I hope your short bankrupts you given I'm long from the 1's

This will go through 3p with a signed GSA and production start up date in the next couple of months. The question is will these events occur!

....they've popped outside for some "fresh air"....just enough time to bare my soul.

I've put the house, assets, ...everything (including the wife) on this AEX short. - I haven't told her yet.

"Chattel"... such an unflattering term. Do you think over time she will get used to it?

Thank you. Today's RNS seriously worried me about my overweight short position.

However, the clarity of your unbiased perspective has re-assured me.

After a healthy session in the pub, I will rest easy again in my bed.

Aminex
"An update this morning from Aminex with regard to financing in which the company say that they have negotiated a six month extension to the corporate loan facility. With Kiliwani first gas expected in ‘mid 2015′, (Aminex are awaiting final commissioning of the pipeline and the process plant), things must be imminent and visible or a further delay would have been flagged so that is good news. Elsewhere the GSA still has not been signed up but again the company appear confident that it is only crossing of t’s and dotting of i’s… "

"Aminex are also in the process of refinancing with new debt expected to be raised to pay down existing facilities and to finance the development of the Ruvuma PSA, here they are confident that enough progress has been made to be close to signing something up. Readers will know that I believe that there is good value in the Aminex offering and that Jay and the team are more than capable of delivering it. I am now looking forward to final delivery of these promises so we can see how the company can move forward in Tanzania. - See more at: hxxp://www.malcysblog.com/#sthash.Q029bpG7.dpuf"
