Something like, I'm sorry but we cannot disclose anything that hasn't been released in a RNS first...

Absolutely no point speaking to any member of the BOD in any Company IMHO as they are all bullsh1t merchants.

Yes new that, quite brave and unique offering a shareholder a direct line of communication. It will be interesting to see how it works out in practice.

Oligocene is in the middle tertiary period, NT-2 is targeting lower tertiary sands so probably Paleocene.

So really no read through for AEX

thanks ngms, so that would be a positive then for the Ntorya-2 secondary Tertiary target. it seem where ever you drill in Ruvuma there's gas

Blackgold,

and I think the Oligocene is the time frame that has the Tertiary period and the Cretaceous with-in it?, what i'm wondering does the Ntorya channel extent under the Wentworth's Mnayi Bay? and that was the origin of the unknown high pressure. Need to do more home-work.

I'm afraid that's not the case. The Oligocene is in the Tertiary period, the Cretaceous is part of the Mesozioc.

Think in terms of Cretaceous = dinosaurs and the Tertiary is the period post extinction up to the modern day

Aminex Chief Executive, Stuard Detmer, commented: "With the completion of drilling at Ntorya-1, operations will now focus on testing the previously announced gas discovery between 2,660 metres and 2,685 metres and planning a seismic programme to evaluate the full potential of the discovery and identify other prospects for future drilling.

Ntorya-1 has successfully extended onshore the Ruvuma Basin play fairway which has recently been the subject of several high profile offshore discoveries.

Aminex sees significant further exploration potential for the Ruvuma block, in particular the offshore portion of the PSA which is largely unexplored

Going to be interesting to see if this news has any impact on the WRL share price The past year has seen financing and GSA good news for them but a plunge down to below 30p from over 50 last year and over 60p back in 2013.

For what it's worth, I think the Orca deal is significant. It show activity and support from the World Bank, which is Tanzania's dance partner for providing GSA payment guarantees. I think this will happen within weeks, not months.

Songo Songo development

"The Company continues to develop options to move ahead with Songo Songo field development in Tanzania. The field currently produces approximately 91 million standard cubic feet per day (“MMcfd”), which is less than the existing Songas Limited (“Songas”) infrastructure capacity of approximately 102 MMcfd. In order to fill the existing Songas infrastructure to capacity and provide operational redundancy, the Company is contemplating a first phase of offshore development consisting of working over two existing wells (SS-5 and SS-9) that are currently suspended, working over an existing production well (SS-7) and drilling a new offshore development well (SS-12). The workovers, if successful, will use the existing infrastructure (platform and flow-lines). Should the workovers be deemed unfeasible or prove to be unsuccessful during the workover operation, it is expected that the wells will be either side-tracked or abandoned and new wells drilled to replace the old wells."

"The development programme also includes the installation of a refrigeration unit at the Songo Songo Processing plant. The programme is currently contemplated to occur from Q3 2015 to Q1 2016. Additional productive capacity would be available to supply some volumes to the National Natural Gas Infrastructure Project (“NNGIP”) if and when the Company concludes a gas sales agreement with TPDC. This first phase of Songo Songo development is not dependent upon concluding a gas sales agreement with TPDC, and additional gas volumes could be sold through the existing Songas infrastructure to industrial and/or power markets. The NNGIP pipeline is approximately 98% completed and associated plants and facilities are approximately 83% complete, with commissioning expected by the end of Q2 2015"
