21/4/2005 14:01 | What do you estimate to be the fair value given the 0.5p warrants? If there is going to be a placing 3p looks decidely ambitious given the bid is now 2.75p | davidblack
21/4/2005 13:55 | true value beginning to show now. perhaps Dr Death can pull a rabbit from his thatch. regards | targatarga
13/4/2005 20:01 | tiredoldbroker Given his track record and reputation I would have to answer 'yes' to your question. What surprises me more is that as an alleged ex-bankrupt and disqualified Company Director he managed to persuade investors to stump up 5p in the first place.Fools and their money etc etc | argy2
13/4/2005 19:26 | Surely not even Dr Death (MWM) would be so cavalier of the interests of the very small investors he claims to help as to remain a director of the company, if just 2 months after floating at 5p they were to issue shares at 3p ? | tiredoldbroker
13/4/2005 06:49 | Oops!!! Finally, Addworth dropped 1.25p to 3.37p on rumours that the cash shell is putting the finishing touches to a fund raising at 3p. Should the speculation be proved right, it is likely to cause great disquiet among investors. Addworth listed on AIM just two months ago, when it raised £750,000 via a placing at 5p. | sealed

12/4/2005 17:08 | some really heavyweight dumping - 4 million banged out - dude | frances2
12/4/2005 16:09 | two mms are on the bid at just 1.75p! | frances2
12/4/2005 15:50 | prokertace - Dr Death has finally realised the only guaranteed way of making money is to short Addworth. He is probably using his own money not Addworths. More for Mark in the end you see. regards | targatarga
08/4/2005 13:35 | Why is that then Cat? | topvest
07/4/2005 23:27 | get some counselling | cat
07/4/2005 20:53 | I agree with you. The investments they have made are very run of the mill and anyone could have invested the amounts involved at the prices they did if they had the cash. 1p is what this is worth. | topvest
07/4/2005 13:53 | I don't quite see the point of this company, from the investor's point of view. All they seem to be doing is buying shares in quoted (or in one case a soon to be quoted) microcap businesses. But what's the point ? The best they can do is the average of their investments, practically all of which are in any case available as a direct investment by anyone interested. So why bother with the costs and directors' fees for ADW ? They could save you money by telling you what they thought the best buys were. Oh sorry, MWM has been doing that anyway. I don't see any evidence of deal making or provision of intermediate capital, which might at least bring a chance of chalking up some decent percentage returns. If all they want to be is a microcap investor, with no tax breaks to speak of, I don't see what the point is, other than to give some directors a possible source of regular income. | tiredoldbroker
07/4/2005 13:51 | LOL! Why buy ADW, when you can track the portfolio, without paying a stupid premium?? Rgds dell | dell314
07/4/2005 11:54 | Shares up today, expecting more news flow soon. Addworth now holds 7% of Myhome international, should be intresting to follow when the company moves onto AIM. | purple
06/4/2005 16:41 | Company has purchased another 200,000 shares in Myhome International today, total holding now worth around £150K. | purple
30/3/2005 11:07 | jasper65 Given the fall since they ridiculed the share price and management it certainly seems to be going their way though.Only time will tell who is right them or those guys who got in at 5p or more. | argy2 |
