05/2/2007 10:46 | Wray's in at 2.25p, got to have incentive to do something with this company, lets watch whats happens. If this was the old days this would 10p now. | montyhedge
05/2/2007 10:31 | Suspect he is happy to back Watson-Mitchell aka Dr Death having known him from the 'insider dealing' days at Fleet Street Letter and Penny Share Guide etc.Must admit he gets more right than wrong though albeit it helps getting in well below the market price when he invests! | argy2
05/2/2007 10:27 | Argy2 Since the placing and stake change. Nigel Wray must have plans for this company. | montyhedge
05/2/2007 09:24 | How come your posts are 219/20/1 then? | argy2
05/2/2007 08:51 | I must be the only one who spotted this, up another 3%, in the old days if Nigel Wray took a 25% stake in a shell, it would rocket. Still slowly but surely its going up. | montyhedge
02/2/2007 15:36 | Up 8% today, just the start of things to come. | montyhedge
02/2/2007 14:08 | Nigel Wray has a nice stake, he normally backs winners, a lot further to rise on postive newsflow. | montyhedge
01/2/2007 12:50 | Another interesting day for activity. | argy2
16/1/2007 07:54 | Bit of activity yesterday. Hopefully overhang of stock has gone now. | argy2
20/12/2006 09:39 | Wray bought at 2p therefore it is worth 2p, if you follow his investment....no reason for the rise. | jasper65
20/12/2006 08:25 | Interesting move this week.Could we be in for some news soon? Re-read the interim statement. | argy2
05/12/2006 07:41 | here is the RNS ..... The Directors of Addworth plc are pleased to announce that the Company has raised #500,000 of new capital through a placing of 25,000,000 new ordinary shares for cash at a price of 2p per share. Of these, 23,000,000 have been subscribed by Nigel Wray. Following completion of the placing, Nigel Wray will be interested in 25.6 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company. The funds raised will be used for general working capital purposes. Application will be made for the new ordinary shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. | edcrane
05/12/2006 07:23 | Interesting deal announced today bringing together two of the markets biggest 'insider dealers' (allegedly). Should bode well for the share price....5p sooner rather than later? No wonder Mark Watson-Mitchell bought a lump very recently...he must have known this would boost the price. | argy2
12/11/2006 08:01 | Yes, fully aware of the warrants - that was why I said that this co. was floated at too high a price! Some entrepeneurs like to keep working - take Bruce Rowan who is even older than MVM. He's got multi-millions including an c£50m+ stake in Camec, but still keeps going. They enjoy it too much. Incidentally, Starvest bought some shares in Addworth six months ago. | topvest
12/11/2006 06:10 | TV-entreprenuerial company!!!! MWM is over 60, if he was E he would have made it by now and be siting on a beach somewhere! ALSO BEWARE OF THE WARRRANTS AT i believe 0.5p on ADW !! | jasper65
08/11/2006 21:48 | I think that's a bit harsh. This is an entrepeneurial company with lots of good ideas. I don't like their short term trading tactics - I think they should hold on a bit longer sometimes. I also think the company was floated at 5p when it should have been 1-2p. Having said that, at the right price, it looks a reasonable company. | topvest
08/11/2006 11:31 | I just don't see the point of this company being listed. The Core took a pounding and has halved in value. MWM strikes back gg | greengiant
29/9/2006 17:56 | Not the most exciting of interims! No mention of their OFEX investment vehicle that they talked abut trading all their OFEX holdings into at the year-end. | topvest
05/7/2006 12:48 | I suspect it is the involvement of Dr Death that encourages caution 'mog3'. | robby balboa
09/5/2006 15:48 | Wherever it was it obviously went well then! | argy2
08/5/2006 23:25 | Percento, 26 Ludgate Hill, London EC4. Isn't that a coffee shop next to the City Thameslink station? | andy
08/5/2006 21:12 | Presumably no-one went to the meeting then? | argy2
05/5/2006 12:31 | Then again perhaps not! | argy2
04/5/2006 18:24 | Apt choice of words I suspect....may see a decent run up to the figures? | argy2 |
