04/5/2006 12:49 | life in the old dog yet. | targatarga
03/5/2006 16:05 | Everyone knocks addworth but some of their investments look interesting, like every thing but the music,my home and maypole group I suppose we will see with their figures on Mon. | mog3
02/5/2006 11:21 | What happened to 198? | argy2
02/5/2006 10:31 | It looks like Mark WM is happy to explain ADW to private investors: anyone going along? At least its a decent spot for a mid morning cuppa. "Addworth plc, the active capital investor, will report its maiden preliminary results for the period ended 31 December 2005, on Monday 8 May 2006. Private Investors are invited to a Presentation at 11.15am that day at Percento, 26 Ludgate Hill, London EC4. Any Brokers or Private Investors interested in attending either of these meetings are asked to contact Yvonne Fraser at Aquila Financial on 020 7202 2609 or on addworth@aquila-fina | qpfc
08/4/2006 12:58 | looks like the blokes over at www.fairshare.biz got it right again as usual, how do they do it | nockybalboa
14/3/2006 11:51 | Good point ... there are others ..... ERL is now EBTM. PSM is negligible in terms of value but 2.848m IFM is another £70k .... also AJ Leisure (to be renamed Maypole Group soon) where Addworth has a 6m shareholding with a value of £150k ..... adding these 2 additional shareholdings raises the "base" net asset value to approx £2.1m versus mkt cap of £1.7m | ynotna
14/3/2006 11:13 | ynotna.............. | argy2
14/3/2006 11:03 | CORE the latest Addworth dlotation is starting to move up today .... so I've revisited the values in post 194 above. 1.3m myHome (£455k), 9m EBTM (£540k), 8.55m CLS (£90k), 16.85m YEL (£337) and new one 8.8m CORE (£440) ... all adds up to approx £1.86m versus mkt cap of Addworth at £1.71m. Once again I presume they are getting some advisory feee income and there are likely to be other shareholdings which are not liable to disclosure and hopefully a bit of cash as well. All very interesting. | ynotna
27/2/2006 12:33 | to take the above post a step further the last few holdings announcements in relation to Addwoirth investments are as follows .... 1.3m myHome (value £530k), 9m e-Retail (value £585k), 8.55m Cheerful Scount (£85k) and 16.85m Yellowcake (value £294k) .... all adding up to approx £1.5m. This does not allow for advisory fee income as well as what I understand is various other smaller investmetns and cash. | ynotna
27/2/2006 12:24 | You are right jasper. ERL and MYH stakes are worth around £1.1m to ADW. Early days. | papillon
26/2/2006 23:19 | Patience is a virtue....... look at ERL, my home etc....all are going great guns. | jasper65
26/2/2006 21:00 | Looks like it could be about to break out. 3.25p on cards? | papillon
23/2/2006 10:37 | I still think there is scope for upward movement in this price. The company has topped up its holding in Myhome and the price has soared to 37.25p . Surely the increase in asset value should reflect in the share price of Addworth. Rich | prokartace
07/2/2006 09:24 | Someone must have been listening! Whoever it was, thankyou. Rich | prokartace
06/2/2006 12:42 | Ok tks. By the way have tried to get into company website with no success. Wonder whats going on there? | prokartace
06/2/2006 12:35 | There is also the problem of warrants exercisable at just half a penny? | saltedcrab
06/2/2006 12:34 | No....but assume still well below share price given the price founders paid when it came to the market. Also difficult to guage given the problem getting market prices of many of their holdings if they needed to sell. | argy2
06/2/2006 12:01 | ARGY2 Do you have any idea of the asset value of their investments + cash? cheers Rich | prokartace
06/2/2006 11:54 | Ahead of the E-Retail rise the price of ADW did rise from 1.5-2p.To balance that their holdings in other stocks ie CLS have fallen in value. Swings & roundabouts etc. All academic until you can offload some of course. | argy2
06/2/2006 11:28 | I'm not quite sure what I'm missing. ADW holds 9mil shares of E-Retail which has jumped from 3p to 6.875p in 3 days after results. Why is this not reflected in ADW share price. Answers on a postcard. Cheers Rich | prokartace
01/2/2006 13:09 | looks like Starvest's investment here has kickstarted it a bit ! | currypasty
01/2/2006 13:02 | SVE look better bet, 62% discount (do not hold) | purple
