PITTSBURGH, July 2, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- "I wanted to create a simple and easy way to strain solids from broth when serving soup," said an inventor, from East Chicago, Ind., "so I invented THE SCOOP. My utensil design eliminates the use of two separate utensils, which would save cooks time and energy in the kitchen."

The invention provides a specially designed utensil for serving soup. In doing so, it enables the user to strain soup ingredients and separate them from the broth. It also would be small enough to use in any vessel, and it offers an alternative to using traditional ladles which can be too bulky and big for soup pots, jars, bowls, etc. The invention features a two-in-one design that is easy to use so it is ideal for households and commercial kitchens. Additionally, it is producible in design variations.

The original design was submitted to the Chicago sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
