Those that thought the BCN deal was a slam dunk may have been mistaken, the apparent ZNWD arbitrage opportunity equating to the risk premium. I've been highlighting the risk associated with the BCN deal from the start, especially with regards to the required Mexican authorities approval. Good to see ZNWD in recovery mode, COP26 should help raise the profile.

Trying to work out from the BCN RNS whether they are on course for getting the Ganfeng deal through or whether it’s struggling.
Lots of talk of institutions holdings not being counted until close to the deadline, but not very clear!

Closing date for the offer is 14 Nov.Long way off,one doesn't have to accept for a good while yet so expect things to start moving in a couple of weeks time.
