Well they are still clearing out old management and being very tight on funds. I am hoping one of Vlad's very rich pals decides to buy the company so that their programme on him never gets broadcast :)

I shouldn't have stuck with it - I am normally much better disciplined when disposing of duffers and minimising losses, but I have few others and also some where I should have held on and not taken profits - my two current 'stars' are SNG and SCE - the first one I have at an average price of 33p (a six-bagger) and the second 23p (a 2 bagger)and thinking of buying more SCE.

I broke even on CRDL!

Just thought I would pop in and see how your getting on here Toffee.

Chart is looking good and well done for sticking with it - I think it may do better short term than CRDL but what I hold there is long-term, and I am still positive about it's future, even though there has been a lot of selling of late - relative to size that is. It is a bit disappointing that more contracts have not been announced though.

Still back to ZIN, I am not up to speed on this but would welcome any info you can provide.

The options granted today are at least fair and reasonably priced. Makes a change!

Toffeeman, Hopefully the wait will not be to long.

On a weekly close basis that looks like the highest since the 77.5p close on 6th March 2020, if you look at Yahoo! Finance charts.

Low volume, but something to tick off on the road to greater things.

It takes very little to get the share price going north now.

The climb continues maybe it will soon recover to the last dilution price, which I seem to recall equates to around 90p - so a fair way to go yet but based on the last presentation, it might go there and above after all.

You clearly don't like or believe in this company, they are a cyclical company who have seen a big deterioration in business as a result of covid. They have taken out cost, restructured and should benefit as a consequence as volumes recover. Simples

While they expect to be profitable in H2 that will I expect still leave them with a big loss for the year, as they seemed to want to avoid pointing out the loss for the period and preferring to rely on the growth in revenue and the other possible contracts.

However, there is a desire to get the share price up, which I think there may well be a very good reason for needing to do so.

Beware this could still be loss making for the whole year.

Time will tell but good luck if you get your timing right.

I will now, Buddy! As my parting shot,I'd advise you to give up investing and go back to your day job - smoking kippers. Any astute investor would have got down on there knees and thanked me profusely for giving him such valuable information on the "COMMISSIONING" m.o. of Zinc's potential funders. There's something very spiteful and mean-spirited about you...........

You can't even keep your word on a bbDear ZINC MEDIA GROUP shareholders. I'm signing out of this thread for good now. Please understand that I bear no grudge towards Zinc whatsoever. In fact, they did me a huge favour by treating my Company so unethically, as we've gone on to massively better things. I just felt a need to inform decent Shareholders to beware of a Public Company that treats its Partners unethically because, as sure as eggs is eggs, they're probably doing precisely the same to their Investors. Good Luck to you all - and Sayonara.......

Dear naive unsophisticated investors slicethepie & gw1: Let me give you some great advice - which I won't even charge you amateurs for: Google BBC COMMISSIONING, ITV COMMISSIONING, CHANNEL FOUR COMMISSIONING, ETC., and you will find very clearly defined requests for the type of programmes UK Broadcasters are looking to buy right now. "RETURNABLE SERIES" is frequently mentioned. Never pick a fight with your Betters, guys.......

Get Lost Fool.

Nobody buys Dinosaur companies making meat & potato Shows.

At least not for a price that will make you and your cohort GW1 any money.

You should take "TRUE WISDOM" where you can find it, mate.....and I'm certain Goldmans would pay me for my astute advice. If they do, I'll send you 10% of the fee. It's more than you'll ever make from Zinc.

Such knowledge on valuation of companies is clearly wasted making meat tv progs may I introduce you to the corporate finance team at Goldman's. I am sure they would enjoy listening to your pearls of wisdom.

Addendum / Chaps, I need to respectfully educate you all on what actually "values" a TV Production Company - ☆☆☆; Its Creative Staff and their Ideas ☆☆☆; The value in returnable global sales of the Rights that Company owns. On both these aspects, Zinc fails beyond miserably. Their Creative Staff are at retirement age and Zinc do not make Global Returnable Series. Just the facts ma'am- just the facts........

I have a (very) small stake in Zin showing a loss of 50% atm.

It is an investment I should not have made, but unlike some losers, I do think there is every chance of making a decent return in three year's time.

Buyer's remorse perhaps!

It is not about optimism it is about valuation, this is a very cheap company in a sector seeing consolidation.

I wish you all the luck in the world, Graham. You deserve it for being Zinc's "NO.1" Cheerleader. It seems there's nobody else posting with such continuous optimism. I'm not being sarcastic here, mate. Hope you and everyone else on this thread make a mint!

Excellent presentation however the comment about having investors wanting to buy shares but unable should force them to give their broker singers a kick. They don't want to make a market in the stock preferring to operate a wide spread that deters both buyers and sellers.

Good communication again, as you'd hope from a media business. Interesting comments on liquidity of the shares, the support of the current major shareholders and the investors watching with a view to taking a position when liquidity allows.

All heading in the right direction, it seems.
