Best of luck lpl1 and thank you for your contributions to the thread.

Directors that bleed companies with high salaries when they fail to perform for small shareholders should be removed ASAP and put on a black list if they turn up elsewhere on plc boards.

That big trade of 200k of shares is interesting.

Dear ZINC MEDIA GROUP shareholders. I'm signing out of this thread for good now. Please understand that I bear no grudge towards Zinc whatsoever. In fact, they did me a huge favour by treating my Company so unethically, as we've gone on to massively better things. I just felt a need to inform decent Shareholders to beware of a Public Company that treats its Partners unethically because, as sure as eggs is eggs, they're probably doing precisely the same to their Investors. Good Luck to you all - and Sayonara.......

Toffeeman, good to hear from you - the best Investor Meet companies presentations to date have been ZTF imo. All questions answered, very honest presentations. One would wish all other companies would be provide such clear cut and straight forward info.

A really good company as well imo. 445/446 Target 595/600 maybe. Safe and sound.

Hey Clocktower - Your note arrived out of the blue. Looks like ZERO activity on this thread for an awful longtime - did everyone sell their shares??? Here's some friendly advice: At the next AGM, tell the board they need to bring in some YOUNG CREATIVE TALENT - or at least talent that "thinks young". Nobody wants to see ZINC go under.........

So dead here and it will not be until October that we get the next presentation and really know (or at least get the coloured version) of things as they stand.

Chaps - I'm now going off this thread for six months or so. Be interesting to see the share price then. One or two word of advice before I leave: Don't be fooled by the telephone number "Commissions" revenue statement. The vast amount of all commissions is eaten up in PRODUCTION COSTS - not much of an earner! Zinc gets a % of Production Fee plus Producers Fee. That's it! There current Slate does not seem to include International Sales, where the REAL ("Rights") money is in Television. Your investments will have far more chance of success if Zinc scores a RETURNABLE GLOBAL SERIES like my Company just has. Wishing you all much luck and success........

It suggests to me that they have sold a few to provide a little more liquidity following those awards.

That holding Rns is weird ?

They were holding over 40% but today say they are 39.54% but they are also saying they had 0 before this which is wrong unless I've read it wrong ?

Hi Guys - Decided to pay a quick visit and see how you were all getting on. NOT WELL by the looks of things! I was mocked by some for having dome kind of vindictive agenda. NEVER SO. I just say it like it is. Anyway, as I've been continuously saying since I first joined this thread: "UNLESS ZINC COME UP WITH RETURNABLE SERIES,THEY ARE DEAD IN THE WATER". Full stop.

I see Dave is owning up to doing exactly that on the other thread.

But I think the terms of these options schemes (for the executive directors) would have been agreed some time ago, possibly as part of the package that the CEO signed up to. If you look at last year's awards they were essentially the same - issued with an exercise price equal to the nominal price (0.00125p/share) and with a hurdle rate at around the current price for half of the options and 50% higher for the other half. I imagine the precise hurdle rate is set by reference to the share price or average share price at a particular time/period.

Think this latest director share issue and option issue, significantly below the price that the investors have put their money in, is a big mistake. Wouldn't be surprised if certain investors sell their shares as a reaction.

Yep I was disgusted with those option prices.

So I sold 10k at 65p, 2 x 5000 at 65p and 12500 at 64p

We move on

Bid/ask pay no attention to the reality of sells at 62p

Browning was appointed CEO with effect from April 2019. The remuneration package would have been a key part of the negotiation before he agreed to join. The board, on behalf of shareholders, decided that Browning on this package was the best option to try to turn the company round.

Not much point moaning about the remuneration package now. If Browning succeeds and the company and share price recover then I imagine shareholders will be happy. If he doesn't then the options aren't going to be worth much.

In my opinion, faced with a challenging turn-round as was (presumably) required at Zinc, it is far better to pay a bit more and get someone with a relatively good chance of succeeding, than to limit the field of potential candidates by insisting on a remuneration package that is not competitive.

Come on stop trying to defend the greed and self interest alone in those that run this outfit, while they lead a lavish lifestyle on more money than the PM.

I think options are probably not quite as valuable as some shareholders would like to think. Have a look at the annual report page 49 (Note 7: Share based payments) to see how similar "unapproved" options granted in February 2020 are valued.

Congratulations dave4545, for calling it as it is. If I remember correctly the presentation they did someone I think said Browning was sprouting about it being 18 months salary, as though to suggest he was only being paid a reasonable amount for his skills at talking the talk while milking investors.

I hope you took your profits dave when you had the chance. Blood sucking bats have nothing on this bunch.

LOL - Terminator101
