the restriction on shares ended today. These are to list on the exchange in may, so will be part of the 12 month rolling amount then.

My take is that any recompletion work is some time off.
Why not announce a (assumed) successful recompletion and await the share price rise and then place at a higher price.

Please Sir, may I have some more (at 7.4p)

PS As I said 2 days ago the sealing and thence recompletion is weeks away ie Feb March.

Yes but very poor price. Market makers will mark the price down and it may lead to a bit of selling. It just pushes the price back to the 7p level again..,,and I think the company can do a much larger placing at the end of this month as the yearly restriction will have ended. Not worried about it and I certainly won’t sell any at this level ...it would have been good to have seen zen breakout of its trading levels but not to be. Ah well.

It is only £300k and there is a 4 month lock in so little harm done. I agree it is frustrating though.

Sea7...just saw this from the infamous align....Align Research@AlignResearch·27 DecCouple of near misses on out Top 10 for 2018 were Zenith Energy #ZEN & Wishbone Gold #WSBN We are decent holders but wait for further evidence of execution of company plans. Keep on watch list......"Decent" holding is that not just the shares they received via the research cost? I.e tiny amount and not "decent"....unless they've added?!

Dipla jog on yourself mate, I don't mind people asking questions as that's healthy, but consistently slagging off the company then saying he's been buying don't quite ring true to me. If a holder is that unhappy with the running or performance of the company why the flying duck would anyone buy MORE shares??????? I'm not too happy with the way things have gone and the lack of comms, but I haven't bought anymore and won't do until I know I'm not chucking my money away as I'm not a fool..... fool!

So it's the seal design that will be available in early Jan:

"Even though the holidays are upon us, we will be working with them to come up with a design that will fix this problem early in January."

and the seal fixing will be when, Feb or March?

I admire Mike palmer manner in which he talks to investors, real truth and transparency: Mike Palmer, Chief Operating Officer, Zenith Aran, the Company's Azerbaijan-based fully owned subsidiary, commented:"I know that operations at Z-28 may appear to have taken a long time. However, from the outset there was relatively little in terms of data on this well, and we have progressively established that what data we had was incorrect. From all the work we have done we now understand this well, specifically the downhole configuration, characteristics and behaviour. Indeed, from what our team has seen in well Z-21 it is clear that there is a very strong prospective pressure in the formation that these wells produce from. We are convinced that there is a big prize to be had once we finish. We have been good stewards with the money invested in the operations so far and have accomplished a great deal in overcoming a number of difficult challenges thrown at us at significant depths. If it wasn't for the wellhead leaks we would actually be in a very good position to complete operations at Z-28, right above the liner with tubing, ready to drill out with a coiled tubing.It is unfortunate that the seals for the 9 5/8 casing are not holding, causing leaks that must be fixed before we can run a CTU to total depth. We are in contact with one of the top companies in the world specialised in this. Even though the holidays are upon us, we will be working with them to come up with a design that will fix this problem early in January. We are working tirelessly to make sure we come to a positive conclusion as soon as possible, and achieve the great production result that we all believe can be achieved from well Z-28.I am also pleased that, whilst we wait for the seals to be completed at well Z-28, we will soon be in a position to begin the workover of well Z-21.The entire operational team is fully dedicated to achieving the best results possible in a field where we know there are extremely significant quantities of oil to be produced, but where there are also a number of unforeseen challenges presented by old, deep wells with inaccurate well data and old infrastructure that needs repairing."

Well Buffoon,They would most likely have sat on that information for weeks, and AC was transacting at lows and even offloading stock into spreadbets.It's not just the 3/12have been delivered, it's the fact that they have not held trust and faith with the biggest company in that field in the world sch'burger..is not a great sign for the future. I’ve learnt over the last few decades not to trust anyone who smiles too much. AC smiles too much.

Being sociable and pleasant is one thing, but smiling too much for too long and in the wrong places is a warning sign of disingenuity.

Now that doesn’t mean one can’t have a successful investment, but it does mean that you can never fully trust someone to be totally honest.

Having said all that, I’m getting a good feeling about theses two Z wells. Let’s hope the upcoming RNS’s don’t induce those other zzzzzzzzz...
