I think ZEN will do very well too. It's ridiculously cheap, with a target of 41p, and it's a good sign when the boss suddenly buys 300,000 more, putting his money where his mouth is. I'm lucky to have bought a lot the day before he did. We know we're onto a winner so it's all about having the patience to see things through to the end. I also own GGP and a lot more besides. I like oil and precious metals.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Azerbaijan and see Zenith’s assets in the country, as the company is going through an exciting period of change I thought it would provide an opportunity to evaluate both the portfolio and its people. I will be putting out a fuller piece in the blog, hopefully on Monday but had noticed a bit of share price weakness and with incoming mail asking me if all was well wanted at first to say that on the ground I was very impressed on both counts.
With a significant portfolio of differing assets to drill or workover in the next year or so, and having established a very high quality team on the ground my initial prognosis is very promising. I will detail more very shortly but holders should sleep easy in their beds, Zenith is a well run, asset rich play with significant upside.

malcy was at the site recently - couple of weeks back, at most.

Yes, I heard that about the esp programme. They were expecting 13 pumps in, however, only have three in, as they are experiencing delays with delivery and the suppliers of the pumps have to install them.

Bearing in mind, that the pump replacements are for wells that are already producing and these pumps are meant to replace obsolete or broken pumps and increase the production.

If the estimates for the pumps are accurate and only three are in, then we could still be looking at around 50bopd increase in production from previous levels on those wells.

Yh but when did malcy visit the site?Those that attended are stating on the BBs here (buffythebufoon) the ESP programme is not at all underway with delays of delivery from sch'burger.The share price is definitely over done imo, all eyes on z-28 being completed in two weeks or this will be doomed

we should be due malcys full report, on monday
z28 news, during the week hopefully - this well last produced at c.500bpd
z21 workover to follow - we know what happened earlier, when they poked around in it, in readiness for the workover...



ESP pump programme update and zone reperfs updates are due.

last production update was 350bopd, with 219bopd to add in to sales figs, after the last four well interventions.

oil price 20% higher than in september, plenty to expect on the news front.

last time we dropped to the lows, we moved up over 80%, before sliding back to where we were at the open this morning, we are likely to climb back up again after this initial assessment from malcy which has put on 8% so far in the last few minutes.

Expecting this to be solidified as his report will be due early next week, with expectations of field updates as well.
