Fatfish you critiqued the speed to things...sp or operations, you weren't to clear. However on both parts, the comment was ridiculous to make. As the share price and operation progress has been very good recently. Not really needed, especially furling the moron traders. Each to their own wish you the best

Fatfish are you happy now! Back to flat!

Massive spread...what's going on?!

What a strange person you are, I have always been happy. I commented on how slow they were working as per the video, which they were and all of a sudden you think I am angry and loosing money.
No more replies from me you may think all sorts of things.

MMs were just playing on short term traders mentality. An explosive RNS could come at any time now.

Given the statements below, this should be leading to a future reserves increase imo

ie additional identified payzones

6/10/17
"Zenith's petroleum engineers have identified additional pay zones in well C-21 that present strong prospects for oil production once perforated and tested".

10/10/17
"is now flowing at an increased rate of 35 BOPD following the identification of an additional 7.8 metres of unexploited pay zones that have been perforated"

20/10/17
"Zardab is a young, *hugely unexploited* field with original high reservoir pressure"

from Beaufort in Feb, posted by SI on lse

"Zardab opportunity

The Zardab Field is approximately 100km2 and the reservoir a porous sandstone at an average 3,000m depth. Zardab has only produced 10,000 barrels of oil from one well despite its potential to be a very significant and profitable field. Although 18 wells have been drilled there, of the five that produced, two were small, one is still producing 20 years later and two failed after a short time online due to sand plugging i.e. the vast majority of the oil reserves remain in the ground"

Aerial extent only really comes into play if you're trying to pick up the Archers in the sticks

tgg,

Aerial extent of closure can be a good indicator, when other parameters line up aswell.

It is never all about aerial extent.

It's never about aerial extent!!! Ever.

Regarding the Zardab field, if Beaufort Securities (newly appointed broker) are to be believed, 100km2 aerial extent, is indicative of a substantial resource base. Brent was about 65km2 and Gulfaks in the 50's km2.

One must point out, there are many other factors at play like payzone, TOC saturation, reservoir properties/characteristics. It is never all about aerial extent. However, a good pointer, people are yet to really appreciate the significance of this - someuwin that image from the recent Zardab gusher (Z21) speaks volumes.

It would be interesting to know some other reservoir specific parameters about Zardab.

"...we expect a successful workover of Z-21 to generate significant production."

Plus news soon on well Z-28. "This is the most significant workover that the Company has undertaken since Zenith began operations in Azerbaijan."...
