Bought some today (not big) after a lot of agonizing. May get punished for my sins..But then again, at this stupid liw level, any smidgen of RNS'ed hope will bounce this upwards. But along shot gamble considering where the global economy is heading to.

Greenelf, you use the word "we" thought you sold out at 5p or have you dipped your toe back in? What are these speculations GTA? Have I missed something? Good luck all we certainly could do you some good news.......Sooty

Question is.. are we getting an update RNS tomorrow or early next week?? We are very near Q1 end. Is the rabbit going to be pulled from the hat or is the party balloon balloon going to deflate?? If the official tweeting is true at heart, it should be good...I fearly hope it has been honest in spirit and not just "pump".

This would be a good moment for Elphick to confirm that $2M loan to the company. ...just saying. (//rather than fanciful speculations on twitter by young Mr. Trahar) GL, GTA

I would suggest ORPH as a good investment, imo. My top pick, very promising. Research contract (no direct R & D cost risk) virology company. DYOR

Bailed at 5.7p at a loss. ZIOC was a hair's breadth from glory until nature reared its vicious head.

Hi GTA5 I think you'll find that Seritza is a vehicle for our former major shareholder Garbut ( Howarth and friends)...and he / they MAY be liquidating at ZIOC to fund a shareholder loan at NCCL Just speculation on my part. ATB

well call me crazy, but I did not expect to see these levels again. It was many years ago when I bought in at size around 3p and this is very tempting again. (I'll also openly confess to buying at 6+ 9+ 12+ 20+ too, and too lazy to figure out averages at the moment) I've made a small top-up today, and will prob get more if funds allow and share price keeps showing weakness. My reasoning is that although it's still a huge risk, the corona virus situation has not changed the fundamentals, especially in the long run. Seritza's lack of faith is more of a concern, and their offloading at these prices a bit puzzling... We also know that no matter what A placing/loan/open offer/etc is coming for sure, but I don't see how that would put ZIOC's future at risk considering the very low cashburn and ability to live the status quo for at least a couple of years more. I also note RoC's noise about sorting out their debts with Glencore, hopefully that will move and unblock IMF's stance, and with that the Chinese and indirectly COIDIC and the rest.... Onwards and top ups. GTA

Hi GTA 5, Good points re China's appetite for stimulus ! Question remains, will China want to 'go its own way' or subscribe to the 'level playing field' re debt forgiveness that the IMF is still, apparently, seeking ….. Headline from Africa Intelligence today "CONGO Still no deal with IMF The delegation, which recently visited..." rest behind paywall. ATB

Hello Sooty, yes, I'm here -and hope to be for some time still. I also hope for a loan rather than a dilutive placing, but It's only likely to come from Elphick I guess. If we got it, that would show that the founders are still in it and a huge show of confidence and strength (or if not, that they have moved on professionally and financially). A placing on the other hand would mean that we're on our own and at much higher risk of being pushed around by the bigger players. I think it's way too early days for an offtake agreement as production is still 3-5years out no matter how rose-tinted glasses one wears, and the risk is just too high for someone to lend money against what is in the ground in a landlocked site hundreds of miles from the shipping lanes and in one of the most corrupt and bankrupt countries on the planet. Not even COIDIC has that level of risk appetite on their own. (Ironically; From a risk stanadpoint Your odds would be better sending your cash to that Nigerian prince that needs to offload billons in diamonds and just needs an advance for the lawyer to rubberstamp it) But, perhaps if IMF and Nguesso sort out the current corruption-gap a little that could change quickly and the dominoes start falling in the right order... A lot of ifs and buts in other words. And again proves and justifies why we are at these levels in my view. It is a longshot and a gamble. Here's to hoping! GTA.

You still in here GTA? For what it's worth I don't think there will be a placing. I see a loan or take off agreement.
