Bought this morning, gone a little stagnant the buying now, but impressed with the proactive interview & having read the agreement Rns.
Hopefully, should attract some press & greater buying interest soon.
Looking forward to further updates from Zanaga early next year.

Hi all,

This is a barebones Framework Agreement, we might/should get more substance in Q1 2020.

A Joint Develop Agreement would be the next positive step, but see NCCL ('shareholder overlap' company)for potential read-across re timelines....

As Winston might - did in fact - say : " This is not the end. This isn't even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning..."

Patience, grasshoppers !

ATB
PS Always happy to be surprised (positively) on a timeline !

Fairly relaxed? Euphemism for mild concern?

Hi all,

Still holding...and fairly relaxed : since last year, as others have said, we've seen the IMF issue resolved, the Vale tailings problem, China's emphasis on 'clean' steel, Simandou 'resolved', Peter Freyberg (ex Xstrata, original buyer-in to Zanaga) appointed GLEN head of mining …...and just recently, Ivan Glasenberg coming under pressure ...and maybe looking for a rabbit to pull out of the hat..
Plus ZIOC management seemingly preparing themselves for a payday.

The only negative I can see (I invite others) is that the cash balances are running down, but , as I've commented previously, there are a number of ways of dealing with this that wouldn't be dilutive.

The big unknown limiting factor I now see as any issues there may be between Nguesso and the Chinese (who of course have plenty of other issues to deal with : trade, Hong Kong etc.)

ATB

PS Fun fact (from The Economist): there are more foreign-born residents in Los Angeles or Melbourne than there are foreign residents in the WHOLE of China... with so little interaction you can see why the West sees the Chinese as 'inscrutable' or an enigma...

Gerry, the whole structure has changed somewhat with the IMF being involved. The Chinese Infrastructure and the bids for Simandou, it has changed drastically since last year. EPP should have started by now but nothing, why the delay and silence, we shall see... gl

Gismo we could have been having this conversation this time last year and the year before that. There's always a carrot dangling with this lot.

The problem with this scenario Gerry is IF at year end or beginning of the New Year we get a JV/buyout. Can't be far away now with the Chinese infrastructure and the Simandou deal

Extrader are you still holding here or have you got cheesed off and gone elsewhere? This lot must be getting short of cash by now. They have promised so much and delivered so little. "Just a pocket full of mumbles such are promises" First quarter, second quarter, then third quarter...........Now here we are in the final quarter and nothing. This has got the look of another end of year let down. I've held these a lot longer than I normally would. Bought in at 10p over three years ago. I'm now seriously considering throwing my hand in. The reason being I believe if they had anything to say they wouldn't wait till the year end to say it. Gerry
