A note about the lower volume and an intra-day slip back in the share price (although price watching is so inappropriate for this stock). There was a significant order today (2,250,000 shares, iro £130k) booked after hours but indicated as soon after 9am this morning. No doubt given the size of this one order it was worked throughout the day. This is a market maker stock and they have the leeway to nudge and jostle the buy/sell prices to achieve their objectives.

Still, the UT closed us at a nice round 6p, and we have witnessed a strong commitment from someone today.

It was a quiet day today, but let's put the banalities aside now. Mea culpa.

There were perhaps only 20 of us attending the AGM yesterday (where were you all - it's free, and rather good fun overall), although an AGM can be a dry affair, watching all resolutions pass more than comfortably on proxy vote casting.

But the real value to a shareholder, or potential shareholder, is to share the room with the Board, look them in the eye, and listen to them talk without any protection of distance or other separation.

We can second guess all we like on bulletin boards, but this is vacuous tittle-tattle compared to meeting and talking with the small group of professionals that are steering this exploration company, probably often against the odds, to a really rather remarkable developing outcome. The mixture of luck and judgement - this is after all a pivotal moment in the realm of copper supply - is coming together. Who could not excuse those responsible, particularly our straight-talking CEO himself, for letting their enthusiasm for these exciting projects rise to the surface.

Carry on Colin. I, for one, am very much enjoying the ride, quite apart from the potential gains to be had.

Probably. Was encouraged to feed some tigers once through a fence. The supervisor lost half a finger. He tried to disguise it, but it's a messy business.

I wonder Lurker, and this is a serious question as you mentioned sentiment ... would you not think collective sentiment is a backward looking indication, whereas the decision to invest on the back of thorough research, at price levels that clearly show not many have reached the same positive conclusions, shows forward thinking, possibly contrarian, but definitely destined for a better return should the analysis prove correct. The proviso here is of course that not everyone gets it right all of the time. Even when riding the coat-tails of positive sentiment.

I do note that you have held from the beginning, as you say. Would you not agree that between the beginning and now, sentiment has ridden a roller coaster, to say the least. At which points did you spot those pivot points of sentiment. It seems you rode the highs all the way back down again? Is that trading successfully?

I ask out of genuine interest and to benefit from your experience.

I have always found that well-informed posters on bulletin boards can be invaluable. The trick is to use one's own judgement to work out who those posters are and who are the casual naysayers or Walther Mittys. My rule of thumb is to pay attention to, but not overly indulge the naysayers. In general I feel that serious investors with serious concerns find other and better markets to research. They don't waste time on a stock in which they currently have little faith.

Onething. You're pushing your luck criticising lurker5.You clearly are unaware that he/she advises some of the biggest companies in the country on their investment strategies. I think you need to apologize.

I'be been in from the beginning thank you Mr Thingie. Spotting when sentiment has gone too far one way or another is why I trade successfully. You should try it. Otherwise keep wincing !

It seems Lurker is doomed to wonder if he/she should take a punt at 60p. I wince on your behalf.

It would be positive if true. But we don't know yet.

Point 4 was certainly in a different league (lower) to the assertions at last week's rampfest evening gathering.

Lurker I have never seen a 'bold' statement start with the word 'hopefully'. A speculative statement might be a more accurate description.

Hole 23, if on the correct pad, should give context and should be here shortly! (A conditional statement to add to the mix!)

All this talk of tax is of no great concern if the share price reaches what now seems possible or a possible take over price
I am sure I am not alone in having enough tax losses over the years to offset any capital gains tax and would be only too happy to confront that senario

THey'll have made a profit on the shares (we hope !) in which case there'll be gains tax. Maybe someone can look back to the last time CB sold a company/project, and see how he met any tax issues

If tax is material, won't they just sell the companies shares....AA or whoever can then dispose of the assets that they don't want? I think that would minimise any tax on the company
