Excellent update. EPS up 5% on previous forecasts. Should be a good day today for XPS. New price target 210p.

Top sliced my holding. Went overweight when the stock dipped last year.

That was quite a hike up yesterday on decent volume. Investors seeing the merits of a growing, non cyclical inflation proofed business

Well, yesterday's remote presentation seems to have gone well if the improving share price now is any reflection.

You can always attend the AGM as a shareholder.

Thrugelmir, time permitting, I like to attend results presentations to hear it straight from the horses mouth and to get a feel for the people who I trust with my money. Also like to hear the Q&A to see what the analysts are focussing on.
I don't like the idea of different groups of people being allowed in or not . I am a shareholder and don't want to be excluded or treated differently.Doesn't seem right to me . Anyway, the presentation was posted up on the website and we look in pretty good shape.

Looks like XPS are trying to discourage PIs.

Selling shares to settle tax liabilities following the exercise of share options possibly. Has been considerable activity recently.

There's what looks like a typo in today's RNS, where it says shares were sold for 1.25p today.
Even if it was £1.25 , why are insiders selling now at that price?
No wonder the company's value doesn't get off the ground no matter how well it appears to be doing.

XPS Trading Update

With the high levels of demand for XPS's services and increased client activity, the Group has generated strong organic growth in the first five months of our financial year, with revenue up 12% against the equivalent period in 2021.

Whilst relatively early in the financial year, the continued resilience and predictability of the XPS business model (including inflation-linked revenues) alongside the strong pipeline of activity for both longstanding and new clients is very encouraging. Combined with the Acquisition, the Board are confident of achieving full year results slightly ahead of their previous expectations of the year.

Why the knocked about share price? Award winning, inflation proofed, dividend paying, well run, non discretional etc etc… i don’t get it.

I'm guessing all these so-called 'sells' at the moment are in fact 'buys'.

Good investor preentation just now. Very encouraging. This is a resilient business with tons of work , solid reputation , winning market share , winning awards. Lots of earnings visibility, excellent cash flow, solid progressive dividend policy based around paying out 2/3 of after after tax profits , good organic growth, leverage reasonable,non-cyclical business, lots of growth drivers from tightening regulation, sufficient scale and reputation to take on the biggest clients like the BT pension scheme. Strong pipeline of new business.
On the negative side is that they seem to find it easier to improve turnover than EPS, so they need to drive efficiency somehow. Also the accounts are a bit messy , too many exceptionals.
The bulk of their work now is in private DB schemes which is a shrinking market though they say that DB schemes will still grow in financial terms right up the the mid 2030's before the numbers really tail off , but by then the pension money will be bigger still if held in Master Trusts , an area where they are growing fast already.
If they can focus on EPS and be shrewd about M&A then they should do really well as opposed to OK though OK is probably enough to keep me happy.
So, lots of reasons to invest here for me.
One to tuck away.
