£19.50 was about the high back in 2011, reaching for that imo. If you take out 2012 its a nice bowl as well ;o)

Sharelockholmes has Revenue of 99.3m - 91.76p eps for 2013, 104.9m - 98.6p eps for 2014.

I make that they did just over £101m revenue with the highlighted margin improvement I guess they probably did 95p eps.

Ha ha - I did, in 2001. It took 10 years to break even after the dot com burst, but it's in profit! ;-)

Hard to beat this for a trading statement.

Confident statement and hopefully new highs coming up. What a company this has been for me, if only I had invested everything here all those years ago.

The Juggler,

Yep Friday is on the website calender.

Meanwhile we sneaked passed the previous resistance in XPP's usual un-assuming manner:-

Obviously was released early online which explains the flurry of small buys earlier in the week.

Might hesitate at £16, who knows I will will just be holding.

Should mention ZYT.

Check out the 10year growth in EPS, book value etc. Check the growth story. See the blip as a temporary . Don't buy today though - IC have tipped it.

I should've mentioned it yesterday , but as you will see form the thread I couldn't get enough stock...

Halma is an interesting company. I've been a holder but, IMO, the valuation is too rich at the minute, so I've sold. Similar characteristics to XPP though, just 30-50% more expensive!

Hi Losos

Interesting that you too are watching Halma! I am going to have a couple of hours this evening to see whether or not to dip my toe i to the water so to say.

XPP Sp has been all over the place for the last couple of weeks. MMS messing for sure as certainly not due to any volume of buys or sells that I can see. I have 10 January 2014 in my calendar for their next update. Quietly confident.

The Juggler,
Thanks for heads up.

Have had a quick look at the story and the numbers. I have come across some of their products too.

I strongly agree it looks a keeper. ALL the numbers I've seen thus far are positive on that score. Very steady over last decade and very positive.

I suspect you are aware that Norman Blackwell is a Non-executive Director also?

Like you, I'd need to do more digging but valuation is the only concern I'd have. But on that score I'd quote Buffet:-

"It's far better to buy a wonderful company at a fair price than a fair company at a wonderful price."
