06/12/2013 16:02 | A good interview, DP comes across well, very straight forward and business like. | fozzie
06/12/2013 15:51 | Thanks Owenski for posting that.Company is Debt free next year and will start to look at bolt-on acquisitions. Next Trading update on Friday 10th January 2014 | rocheberie
25/11/2013 16:41 | I think VLX statement recently have given these a kick - off on volume today that's higher than norm but might just be stops being hit imo. CR | cockneyrebel
25/11/2013 16:33 | Tbh these are parked in my bottom drawer and will be held for the amazing divi. I bought way down and the shares are in for free now. In ITV as well, steady atm and a little surprised it hasnt pushed back up towards 200 on the 3 year CL news. | fozzie
25/11/2013 15:43 | I can assure you it usually goes the other way! Probably be up in an instant fozzie ;-) | lauders
25/11/2013 12:19 | Lauders just look what youve done! | fozzie
21/11/2013 14:21 | Wish holders well. I decided to opt for some excitement and purchased ITV with my profits from this holding. Benefitted from nice dividends along the way too! These will no doubt take-off now so you will all be pleased I sold up ;-) Think these will still continue to do well if just held and have more patience then I do. | lauders
30/10/2013 13:13 | Just seems to bounce around a certain level until news comes either way this one. Quite frustrating given the reason for the last rise! | lauders
18/10/2013 14:51 | Would be nice to see this through 1600 before the weekend. Then onwards to the highs and through to new highs ;-) | lauders
17/10/2013 01:51 | Well shot up on results day and since then has been pretty static. Quite interesting, but of course I was hoping for more of an upward pattern to the share chart/price. | lauders
11/10/2013 10:43 | Agree re outlook owenski - should be a bit of broker coverage get about over the weekend imo. These will be back up to that high before too long imo - the yield here has grown constantly at a rate of over 20% per annum for several years. Eps could easily be over the 106p eps of last year in the 12 months ahead, possibly by some way if they are actually sounding upbeat - co usually pretty cautious imo. All just my opinion but cheap for what is a Jim Slate Zulu type imo. CR | cockneyrebel
11/10/2013 10:16 | Great in profit now. All the dividends obtained so far are even better now ;-) May the rise continue & the outlook prove right. They have always been conservative in their statements so it was rather bullish for XPP. | lauders
11/10/2013 09:39 | Have held since March 2009 and extremely good peformer but strangely does not get same level of publicity that other such shares get. | garfield31
11/10/2013 09:31 | The important part is the outlook, first time for a while that they've said capital equipment purchases are on the rise, this is what will drive the growth here. Cash obviously is rather good as the debt now down to a piffling 6m, which will probably underpin next years div rises. | owenski
11/10/2013 08:35 | That 11% growth year on year is strong imo. going fwd, with weaker comparisons that is likely to increase imo. Even at 11% that should mean a decent rise to next years forecasts at some point imo, and a beat for this year. They cautioysly guide too imo. CR | cockneyrebel
11/10/2013 08:21 | fozzie, I reckon XPP is one of those companies that GENUINELY adds development and growth consistently almost every year. Hence as you observe it "keeps on giving". I know it sounds glib but in reality if you analyse many companies' 10year performance you will see that this actually happens a lot less than you might imagine. So a great long term hold. I think on a trading basis it's safe to say we are a breakout :-) | thorpematt
11/10/2013 08:11 | Ah fozzie, that elusive hindsight! If only eh? | the juggler
11/10/2013 08:09 | One of the first shares i ever bought and the share that keeps on giving. If i had put all my money in here i would have saved myself a lot of heartache and time and would be relaxing on a Caribbean beach ;0) | fozzie
11/10/2013 08:07 | Excellent - had to pay over 1500p to get another 1k but can't grumble. Must be 60p divi this year more or less - bet that's more like 60p in the year ahead too - and what looks like could be strong growth imo. All imo/dyor etc CR | cockneyrebel
11/10/2013 08:04 | Nice rise here! 6%. Long may it continue. | the juggler
11/10/2013 07:43 | Looks more encouraging than previous updates so I might see that profit afterall. Hopefully the market will react positively over the next few months in the run-up to January. | lauders
11/10/2013 07:19 | Very good statement and (for them) some fairly positive language. | fozzie
11/10/2013 07:08 | Sounding quite upbeat methinks, good statement. | bigbigdave
11/10/2013 05:27 | Let's hope it is a positive update! I have been in these for years and am breaking even at the moment. Could have obtained decent returns elsewhere but enjoyed the dividends at least during the wait. Perhaps I might even make it into profit today? Here is hoping ;-) Good luck holders! | lauders |
