02/5/2020 21:54 | You may mean this one. "[Bulletin board posts] are rather like contributions to a casual conversation (the analogy sometimes being drawn with people chatting in a bar) which people simply note before moving on; they are often uninhibited, casual and ill thought out," he said in his ruling. "Those who participate know this and expect a certain amount of repartee or 'give and take'." | ![]() roydyor
02/5/2020 21:07 | hi guys, any chance please some kind soul could remind me of the UK case where the judge likened supposed defamatory posts in an internet discussion board to having a weight merely akin to ‘saloon bar’ chat? i remember it being cited on here a few times over last couple of years, and think I mentioned it myself, but can’t for the life of me remember which case it was, and getting some duff results from a casual google. thanks in advance! - hope folks safe and well. | ![]() spikeyj
28/4/2020 08:30 | Investigations have been underway for quite a while - FCA was supposed to have finished in Jan. I take the fact that they are still ongoing as a good sign for those of us who want to see justice this time. Exactly when they will conclude is anybody's guess. I am just hoping for something to brighten the mood of lockdown. However, knowing how useless FCA are, we might be in lockdown for the next once in 100 years pandemic before they finally get somewhere. | ![]() sweet karolina2

26/4/2020 16:38 | i wonder where he is staying? after all, he had already given away his house, hadn’t he? -munless, of course, it was what HMRC would consider, a ‘gift with reservations’, where for example there remained an understanding, written or not, that he would still be allowed to stay in the house he had supposedly given away —> would have some different implications in tax planning terms, or indeed if courts issuing orders against assets. mind you, it would not matter whether it had been a gift with reservations or not, if it came to a bankruptcy situation, since any such gift could be declared null & void if seen as attempt to frustrate creditors getting assets. | ![]() spikeyj

26/4/2020 10:34 | I still believe most of these pro company accounts are from the same person. For example, YumYum only started posting January 2018 - so why not before? It's a tactic not to discuss the company .. but perhaps there will be some sort of news soon considering the Directorship changes... | ![]() knigel

25/4/2020 12:51 | You are a small fry AIM gambler who backed many of the same shares as Neo. If you weren't in GATE then you are losing big time judging by your other gambles. In real life I have not got a clue who you are and am not that interested. | ![]() roydyor
