early november ‘22, when he said he was going to see if the
FCA could help him get his money back from all those massive
life-changing losses on DVRG. … unclear just how sympathetic
FCA would be to copper, since he had invested lots of money
in DVRG thinking that he was getting info privately from a
BoD member (which copper seemed to think gave him a sneaky
advantage over other punters just relying on corporate RNSs).

a bit off-topic for WRN, soz! … just passing the time of day while we
wait for the trial to begin. (wonder if some plea-bargaining underway?)

Article 6 of the Human Rights Act 1988 provides citizens in our country the right to a fair and public trial or hearing in relation to both criminal and civil matters. Section 2 of Article 6 states , “Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law”.
Presuming can be very dangerous and expensive to assume things on chatroom gossip.

The Worthington 5 face up to 10 years in prison if found guilty.
It would be no surprise then if one or two of the accused throws the fake tan oik under the bus.

They did not enter pleas but their lawyer (not named) said they would deny all charges. They next appear in March so maybe that is when they will enter pleas.

Sweet Karolina has many alias,one of life's complete morons who never invests but makes false allergations against individuals and companies,unfortunately for him he thinks he knows everything but Criminal offences have been added to the Online Safety Bill to punish those who deliberately share threatening and harmful messages,Sending threatening messages to someone online will become a crime punishable by up to five years in prison, the government has confirmed as it announces changes to the Online Safety Bill.
It is currently being revised by ministers after receiving recommendations from two select committees and from independent body the Law Commission

It is clear to me that fan of oik is the malicious troll here, who just wants to make unsubstantiated threats against people who just want to enjoy a meaningful online association with other people, which may include exchanging some light hearted banter. The best thing to do with real trolls, ie not just people with a different view to you, with whom you should discuss your differences, is:

It can PM me if it does want to have a discussion on why what it is doing does constitute being an upstanding citizen and not a paid cheerleader for crooks. Until then I have no interest in even reading its cheerleading and trolling posts, as in my book its behaviour does not make it a worthwhile member of the human race with whom to interact. It has the right (as we all do) to express its opinions, nobody is forced to take any notice of them.

I suggest others who feel equally repulsed by it do the same. Hopefully the people paying it will then realise they are wasting their money.
