I've also gone long, at a current average of 3,888p, high risk at the moment, but very volatile and there could equally be a big bounce. Only a few weeks ago the shares were over £48.

Hi Ochs well done on your entry, their is a downward channel that has a top currently at 4450, I should have taken profit yesterday when it hit it - but don't want to miss the rise to 4900 silly me . Did Average Down a little today so now at 4253 after costs. We need a positive resolution to Ukraine and then it seems a good time for a continued rise, 30-50% would not surprise me from here for end of 2nd Qtr.

Hi tergifts, it certainly moves about! It was looking great when you posted at 11:28 yesterday and then an unexpected collapse into the close.

Perhaps it was the prediction of a larger Q4 loss than Q3 which spooked the market? "As such, Wizz Air anticipates the operating loss for Q4 F22 to be slightly higher than the operating loss of €213.6 million for Q3 F22."

However as with easyJ today it's all about Spring/Summer 2022 which is so far looking extremely positive - providing of course we have no more serious virus variants coming along.

On that basis I jumped in for a long at 4,175p first thing, could have got it a bit lower later, but happy to finish the day in positive territory.

Well done ochs a profit is a profit. Yes not sure about tomorrows results ,i'm not expecting them to be great so possibly should have waited. If it goes down I may add at 4000 dependant on how one of my other stocks is going.

Looks like a good shout, they went below £42 yesterday, and still around £42/43 today. I'm hoping to buy a bit lower if there's another dip, but we'll see.

I closed my short about a week ago... made a profit, but would have been a lot more if I'd waited until yesterday! Always the way... you hold it for weeks with not much happening!

I have gone long on these again Avg at 4264 after costs.
Happy to hold a while , see 4000 as possible bottom but think they will go up from here so decided to take the plunge, I'm scared of missing out on these with the growth potential.
Not expecting the results to be great based on recent disruptions but nothing unexpected and it looks like Europe will be learning to Live with Covid.

Ochs yes always difficult to get the entry right, you see the drop coming but you get in too early and the drop takes you back to where you entered. Can't win em all

Hi Arja
It looks like now or never (at this price anyway) for your shorting op. The Weekly Cycle if it is to hold this level for close on Monday would break the wedge.
It does look to be going down today but im not sure how far, good luck

looking at daily chart it seems to be hitting the down trendline again at this 4375 level but WIZZ has real momentum at the moment and could keep going . I await a possible shorting opp :)

although another great start by the airline and pub stocks almost as if things were back to normal and pre covid times - hard to figure . Of course US indioes have been rocketing and all markets follow that lead tergifts
