15/4/2022 20:58 | I'm not closing if it goes upwards.. just want to protect my coins if it drops below my stop loss. Think overall it will hit £92.. but me and my bird Sheila and her fit mate are trying to play the dips and rises. Putin threatening US.. that would be detrimental to travel. I have a sell order at £35.. and some at £52.. or a stop loss at £29.17 | sanks
15/4/2022 17:07 | What about £52 and then £90 per share? "Did not see this coming" - so the reason Wizz shares are no longer in the £48/52 range is due to the Ukraine war and the risks of escalation - and that has been an issue since the invasion at the end of February when the shares first dived under £30... so that news story is nothing new. | ochs
14/4/2022 11:45 | Looking good..any price above £30 for now, is good. Stop loss £29.17 | sanks
14/4/2022 10:30 | A positive update, but kind of glossing over the Ukraine stuff. My guess is the planes are still stuck as there was no mention of them - and the market has probably written them off... there could be upside if they are recovered undamaged, especially now fighting is moving to the East. | ochs
14/4/2022 08:37 | FT, My guess is they are priced in by the market as written off. Certainly worth asking the company though. I am looking forward to a strong rcovery this year and have a position here as well EZJ in my portfolio. Summer should be fun if the airports get their act together, along with our crewing issues resolved. GL. | fictitious1
14/4/2022 08:30 | I'm disappointed that there was no reference to the planes that were stuck in Ukraine. Are they still there? Salvageable? | fishbournetrader
14/4/2022 07:44 | As expected I guess?... Will have to see how the repositioning of business pans out. Am encouraged. GL. "At the start of F23 (the year ending 31(st) March 2023) the Company is on track to ramping-up operations and crewing for a busy summer flying programme when we expect to operate ASKs more than 30% ahead of 2019 in the April - June 2022 quarter and more than 40% ahead of 2019 in the July - September 2022 quarter. We have been encouraged by demand trends in recent weeks and given the shorter booking horizon expect the bookings for this summer to build significantly after Easter." | fictitious1
13/4/2022 15:17 | i think 12-15% of there routes are from the ukraine from the last annual report. the bulk is poland. i think a lot will fly from poland given the lockdowns (everyone was forced to do local holidays on the coast) but i havent looked into any numbers here yet. | roguetraderuk
13/4/2022 15:16 | They gonna give you the comparable when it hits £92 ..Sheila told me last night in doggie. Level 4 target remains £92 Hope this helps | sanks
13/4/2022 15:10 | Stating the obvious but Delta operates nowhere near Ukraine, whereas Wizz does. EZJ commented yesterday "easyJet has very little exposure in Eastern Europe, with no routes into Ukraine, Russia or Belarus. Our nearest network points are Budapest in Hungary and Krakow in Poland which only account for 1.4% of our total capacity. Additionally, due to our geographical footprint, none of our flight routes need to operate into Ukrainian, Belarusian or Russian airspace, and therefore we are not exposed to re-routing and increased fuel burn." Be useful to get a comparable statement from Wizz - with a percentage of total capacity too. | ochs
12/4/2022 19:08 | Things are very much so improving and that's why they're positioning, acquiring and expanding very smartly indeed!! Largest European carrier at Luton now!!..and just opened a base in Cardiff!!..recruitme That's why I believe they will break the previous £52 mark and head towards that £90 target. Wizz Air acquires Vueling slots to expand at Luton Airport April 12 2022 Wizz Air is expanding is eastern European network from Luton airport after acquiring slots from rival budget carrier Vueling. The additional two daily slot pairs means Wizz Air will increase frequencies on six existing routes – to Bacau, Craiova, Iasi, Sibiu and Timisoara in Romania, as well as to Wroclaw in Poland from May 11. The expansion will see the airline increase its capacity by 167,000 seats, cementing its position as the largest carrier at Luton airport with more than 5.6 million seats in total for the summer. The airline covers 75 destinations from the Bedfordshire airport, where it first opened a base in 2017. Wizz Air is recruiting for cabin and flight crew at Luton airport. The move follows Wizz Air opening a base at Cardiff airport last week. UK managing director Marion Geoffroy said: “T “Acquiring two additional daily slots will allow us to provide customers with even more ultra low-fare travel opportunities. “2022 is off to a great start, especially with the lifting of Covid-19 travel restrictions for fully vaccinated travellers.” hxxp://travelweekly. | sanks
12/4/2022 09:59 | Yes, EZJ sounded positive this morning, but it does have more UK and Western Europe exposure than Wizz. At present the issue for Wizz is its large Eastern European exposure and that is holding back the share price, but hopefully things will improve and Wizz can convince the market that bookings will hold up despite the ongoing Ukraine war. | ochs
12/4/2022 08:49 | EZJ trading update this morning is worth a read for cross reference. Pretty upbeat imo. The whole sector should be in full swing by summer. GL. | fictitious1
12/4/2022 08:07 | Hi Sanks, looks more like it's struggling to break £30 at the moment? Your post should have been written 6 months ago when it was trying to break £52! | ochs
12/4/2022 05:10 | No problem fictitious.. thanks. WIZZ looking set to break the £52 recent highs.. matter of time before it heads north towards £90 | sanks
12/4/2022 00:34 | Excellent read Sanks. Thank you. They are proactive. Things picking up at all UK airports. FT reports: "Heathrow records highest passenger numbers since start of pandemic". Same everywhere else just gotta get over the staffing obstacles. GL. | fictitious1
11/4/2022 18:04 | Cannot see any reason why WIZZ should not be above £52 and heading towards that £90 price mentioned by one of the analysts recently. Oil price is tumbling too! Recovery Complete: Wizz Air Plans 39% More Flights Than 2019 This Summer 11 April 2022 Wizz Air has expanded significantly, and there are big changes to its top-10 airport list. | sanks
04/4/2022 10:38 | I thought 86.2% was pretty impressive given recent circumstances... I was fully expecting under 80%. I'm surprised the shares are not over £30 on the back of those numbers. For Feb 22 the load factor was 91%, so yes March is worse - but it was expected. | ochs
04/4/2022 08:41 | OK - Considering March 2022 Capacity Load 2,871,848 86.2% March 2019 Capacity Load 2,721,959 94.1% | tergifts |
