I think I might have made the mistake of getting emotionally attached to you Wizz, you should have held at 3800 but you let me down.We seem to be in an exclusive relationship as there are no comments on the update or the 8% fall on re-iterated FY Profit guidance. I still love you Wizz but you have bruised my spreadbetting balls of late so I feel a temporary separation is needed until you re-discover your mojo. We should both be free to seek other partners but I hope our time away from each other will re-ignite the fire and we will re-join better and stronger. It's not you it's me.Love, kisses and tears (and bruised SB balls)

Market down, airline sector down but 3.5% down seems a little harsh. Have added to my spread position. We have June traffic numbers next week which I expect will be sector leading yet again. HSBC not helping with a daft rating (all others look good).

Big drop today especially compared to RYA and EZY. Pull back en-route to higher highs or am I being too optimistic ? It's shaken me out of a few of my spread bets but still holding and believing.

Found some :

Profits at the world's major airlines will be hit this year by rising fuel and labour costs, the industry's trade body has said.
The International Air Transport Association has cut its profit forecast for 2018 by 12% to $33.8bn (£25.3bn).
IATA, which is holding its annual meeting, said rising interest rates and trade tensions would also hit profits.
Airlines earned a record $38bn in 2017, although this was distorted by several one-off changes, such as tax credits.
Despite the reduced profit forecast, IATA's director general, Alexandre de Juniac, said: "Solid profitability is holding up in 2018, despite rising costs. The industry's financial foundations are strong with a nine-year run in the black that began in 2010."
Airlines' fuel costs this year are forecast to rise by nearly 30%, with the oil price expected to average $70 a barrel, up from $54.90 a barrel in 2017.
IATA, which represents 280 airlines that make up about 83% of global traffic, had previously forecast an average price of $60 a barrel.....

My wife had her flight cancelled by ezy due to technical problems & managed to get a flight with wizz although snow on the ground wizz flew out the next morning, connecting flight was cancelled due to bad weather. EZY had to go to the ombudsman as they refused to pay up & wizz was back in acc. in 7 days.

Been watching this stock for over a year but was a first time flyer with them this week. Suffice to say the experience was horrific and their customer service is abysmal. Staff are seemingly not employed to assist customers but rather to tell them to sort the problem out themselves. Even EZJ and RYA put Wizz Air to shame. Chairman Bill Franke seems to be chucking money at philanthropic causes, maybe one of those causes should be the improved treatment of customers. If they continue with their utter contempt for customers I suspect they will not only become one of the most hated brands in aviation, but also among European brands in general. Pay peanuts get monkeys, as the saying goes.

Fantastic - upper end of expectations.

FY19 guidance €310 - €340 making this x8 PBT to MCAP.

I'm expecting a break to 3400 then back to 3600 / 3700 in the next few weeks.

As RYA report fuel increases will increase Fares (for all) there's just a lag of 12 months. Hedging policy should be sufficient until price rises and we have the youngest most efficient fleet. Fuel will have an impact but not the root cause for the near 20% fall from highs

Ita the forecast that's important. Fuel is a major cost so the higher oil, price is hurting (btw: you can only hedge so much for so long)
