I got the price slightly wrong for the weekly close, but the cycle finished perfectly - indicating the end of the weekly down cycle. Looking at my charts, I think tommorow will close around the same level to finish the monthly down cycle.

Yes, plus they did it on 24 Nov - so nursing a nasty loss now ;)

It seems the Jan low (3962p) has acted as resistance today - we need to get well over £40 for a proper recovery here.

Ochs I thought the weekly cycle may make this drop a little further for close today, but there is a higher trend line for it to close at around 3970 region (+/- 30 points best guess).

Possibly your 3962 or where ever it is now

I think that this may be more likely now, regardless after today/tomorrow it should be all good for many more weeks and months of rises as both monthly and weekly downward cycles will be complete.

So far Friday seems to have been an over-reaction, but be interesting to see how things develop over the week. I'm currently holding, but not bought any further.

@tergifts, based on the news over the wkend I think we probably jumped in a bit early on Friday. I'm expecting another big fall on Monday morning. I'm now targeting a buy around 3250p for medium term recovery.

@Sanks, I've got a feeling you may get 3470p or lower sooner than even you expected!

Anyone still short of these from much higher up? What's your target price? @Dare2Share @wiseacre

Just need a small drop Monday Close to complete the weekly cycle and then a big rise to keep the monthly cycle upwards trend intact and all should be good

I guess the worst case scwnario is about 3000 according to chart , Should open a bit lower on monday but then a bounce seems likely if US indices futures do not tank again

I have the bottom channel around 3680 so could drop a little more for Monday close, that would just about complete the current downward weekly cycle.
I could be in a bit early but this could easily have a 100% rise on a 3yr investment. With the 20% per year
growth target. I'm sure I will trade in and out along the way.

Agree, they also only fly within Europe, so seems overdone based on the news from SA. I was tempted just before the close to buy at 3750, but held off and will see how things start out on Monday! Interesting times for sure...
To hold the Jan 2021 support it needed to close above 3962, which clearly it hasn't, so there is a risk of further falls.

Hi Ochs
Picked some more up at 3800 so fully loaded now at avg 3887, I agree we may see a few days, even weeks of pain but this seems one of the best airlines to be in due to the low running costs.
If we see further shutdowns then wizz will see pain but less than most and create great opportunity's if its a storm in a teacup then a quick recovery. Looks a good short to medium play.

Hi tergifts, I jumped in this morning too - fall seems overdone (same with easyJ) - I bought at 4016p - fingers crossed - although it could fall further in the short term, it always seems to bounce. It's currently testing the January 2021 lows which are acting as a support zone.

Sorry to interrupt you all here, loaded up on some of these this morning at 3993 after costs.
My Monthly Cycle is showing that this should end the Mothly down cycle. Could fall a little bit more on the weekly but seems a good price for a short to medium time hold.
Anyway chat away, dont let me stop you

This is a great trading stock... I shorted it over £54, but then closed way too soon (for a profit) and I'm now long, although again I bought a bit too soon so didn't catch the recent bottom.

Results due 4 Nov.

Think you'll be lucky to buy as low as £34.70 Sanks - but closer to £40 might be a possibility at some point the way the share price gyrates!

Interesting indeed! I do struggle to understand the reaction. Don't get me wrong at a certain price I could see a case for buying but not at anywhere near 4800! Its valued at more than it was pre pandemic and in that time it's lost 500m, admitted it will be loss making next year and yet people are still buying. I'd maybe buy at 2,400! Going to keep my short open for now

Interesting price movements this morning, it's almost as if the market didn't know how to take the announcements. I know markets look ahead, but seems a hefty valuation when even the company are saying they are unlikely to be profitable until 2023!
