I only short occasionally tergifts with liquid stocks using a CFD . WIZZ has rallied strongly since the fall early yesterday and should run out of steam soon being an airline stock . have a good weekend sport

Thanks, yes I have been watching in the background as longterm I like wizz but my money is elsewhere at the moment.

The Weekly cycle did not manage to break the wedge it is stuck in and it now looks like it will go down for a week or so. I have the bottom of the channel at 3700 but I don't short.

since we discussed the chart WIZZ has been pounded any mini rally such as happened today on back of roaring US indices soon runs out of steam. It does look like it could even sink to 3600 level again in time due to the new varaint etc . have a good day sport

@tergifts, yes wise to take some off the table after a decent rise - these markets are highly volatile and Wizz (and all airlines) are very linked to virus news and Gov policies. I did the same at around 4285p. Will look to re-buy lower if and when it drops again!

My daily up cycle hit a possible top today, so chances are a retracement for a day or two -doesnt change the 2 week 4500-4600 target but I'm looking to get some lower.

Think 4200 could be a possible bottom for now but my daily cycle looks to want a bit higher yet before retracement , but not sure if this would be today or tomorrow

arja for the day yes , I think we could see a retracement this afternoon with carnival being down 7% yesterday. I think the US will bring this down after open. But I dont short and a risky play on wizz as you wont be able to wait it out for a recovery.

A good recovery on 2020 figures but still down on PreCovid Nov 2019 - as expected, Look at Oct 2021 Seats to see how Wizz have been cutting Number of seats over the last month to reduce costs, no point flying empty planes.

All very true - they are extremely forward thinking and ambitious which I like... however the Covid news on Friday certainly spooked things, but it was probably a great buying oppo. I chickened out of buying more around 3750 late on Friday, and decided to wait and see if they went lower. At least I got in at 4016p, so am up on those :)

Thanks Ochs but I dont think buying Wizz around the £40 price is being brave, Wizz has five year Broker Targets at over £90,target of 500 Aircraft by the end of the decade. some of the lowest operating cost in the industry,ordered 100 Aircraft at Nov Dubai Air Show and these Covid uncertainties are actually creating huge opportunity for them in securing slots and nudging out legacy airlines, who may never recover.

Do you buy the old Marks and Spencers or the New Amazon

And the good thing about all this, it all coincides with the Monthly and Weekly Cycles and Charts all being at their low.

Matching Cycles to trend lines is not alway easy, but my best guess would be that the first test of the weekly upward cycle in 2 to 3 weeks will be the trend line intersecting at around 4500-4600

A very good day
Monthly and Daily Cylcle finshed to perfection, so we should see positive weekly closes for the next 2 weeks. I will need to look again after that as we could be coming to its first test.

Ochs ,yes I will be watching but can't see it changing much. Wizz have been suspending many flight paths to reduce costs as they knew this would be a difficult period.

When Ryan Air delist from the LSE, I wonder how many will find a new home at Wizz

a good article below - I think the emissions will start hurting some of the legacy carriers sooner rather than later.
