Full blown management/staff recruitment drive taking place for the new E-fulfilment Waitrose contract in Greenford West London, massive project by all accounts, set to go live by end of year.

800 new employees, increases the workforce by nearly 5pc

If we forget potential (not definite) "trading updates" when is the next official update due (eg interims)? I definitely want to buy more about a month before any official update (ideally).

Great to see Unicorn Asset Management increasing to over 5% per yesterday's RNS. And the 194p bid price is nicely solid despite a few small sells.

And WIN have been shortlisted four times - the most of any nominee - in the annual Supply Chain Excellence Awards:

Yes all that is needed is.....'difficult year with Covid lockdown etc, but with a range of new contracts and extensions to existing contracts, especially E-fulfilment, we are now trading at pre Covid levels and are looking to take advantage of the exciting growth opportunities'

That would do it. A quick rise to 250-300p to catch up with the likes of Clipper.

Come on Directors.

Thankyou ADVFN. Ideally could you lower the red line a bit further down still as I would like to see the prices above 200. Thankyou once again.

Could someone at ADVFN move the red line down a bit so we can see what prices WIN will get to if the price goes up?
Thank you in advance.

net....a little up top info...as much as you like the Waitrose tie up...its all in the mix...Wincanton have many tie up's with all the main super markets, market leader.

Obviously when the record changes, the dance style changes.

Basically, and for anyone interested, WIN are now back up to speed, so do your pe's based on £50m profit...a pe of 5 and the market leader...somethings not right.

VOLVO: That is true, but Waitrose in is in the press a lot and I feel this is quite an important move - As Wincanton themselves say "transformational ecommerce opportunity":

The Waitrose tie up is indeed a great deal.....but WIN are massive, they have these deals all over and at sub 200p, your buying money.

Wincanton already has all of Waitrose wines and spirits delivery contracts.

Todays Development....who were to take over from Ocardo, got the boot last year.

So the only new contract of size is the June contract given to WIN. More to follow imo.

Worth noting, Wincanton have far more reach than Clipper Logistics, 130pc more turnover, and at least double their profits, its just that they are seen as a more pure E-fulfilment play.

Clipper turnover £500m, EBITDA £24m, Market cap £426m

Wincanton turnover £1200m, EBITDA (June 2020) £52m, Market cap £241m.

I have to admit that Ocado losing Waitrose / John Lewis (in Sunday Times) means that there will be some huge transport contracts up for grabs.

We know Wincanton have won a part of the pie (West London) - do we know if Wincanton are set to expand to take an even bigger part of the old Ocado network or has that been given to another transport company (Clipper?)

Who gets what from the departure of Ocado?
